    The funny thing is that he's a shell of his former self. When he was a true impact player he was playing behind the striker in a 4-3-2-1, drifting across the front line and dictating play. We've been asking him to sit deep and recycle possession the past two years, which is why all he ever usually offers is short five yard passes. He's good for bleeding out a win, and that's about it.

    Is his contract up once the season ends?

    Yep. His contract expires at the end of the season and there's no indication we're going to renew it.
