There is a very slim likelihood of that being a correct assertion. We cannot trigger a clause for loaning out a player, he's still in our books, therefore we owe Nice nothing unless there's a clause that says he must feature in every season of his contract and this breaches it. Which is something absurd that I've never seen or heard in any football contract before.
