I believe that Cancelo has complained about his previous manager(s) playing him as RW rather than RB? Now we know why.

I prefer him over Candreva as RW for many reasons, but never over D'Ambrosio as RB, atleast not until he upgrades his defensive awareness.

Yes, and he'll do that by playing at RB

That would be great but he’s actually a contributor at Barcelona unlike Delofeu

I seriously don't get or like the hype Joao Cancelo is getting. I'm not saying he's bad, he's just not something we need. And we certainly cannot afford to educate him to play right back in Serie A. We knew he had everything he's showing and we also knew that it's not really what Inter needs.

Candreva works hard and tracks back a lot. So maybe we can afford to have an attacking RB for a while, they can back up each other in attack and defence.

But I do agree with you that people are hyping Cancelo too much after 1-2 good performances, he is quite poor defensively. Its the FIF way.

Cancelo and Deulefeu on the right side would give teams nightmares. Cancelo has been bossing as a RB, so keep him in that position moving forward.

I think we're the ones who will be having nightmares. That right side of ours will make Nagatomo look like Maldini.

he played against Lazio very fucking well in df also...against a team that scores a lot...and we got a CS...our defending is pretty fucking good...despite us having limited players out there tbh.
Frog,Nagatomo are doing well for their limitations...I don't like Santon's defending tho.

It’s refreshing to have a technical, attacking full back. I know that it’s still early but difference between him and Dalbert is immense.

There are other players for you to compare, Nagatomo or Santon for example. Give Dalbert a break, people were bitching about Cancelo just 2 weeks ago.

I'm going to say something stupid, but I think it's true so I'm doing it...

His runs remind me of Zanetti.

Run, mate, run as far as you can.

Zanetti was a far more defensively sound LB and his attacking runs were more direct. Cancelo's runs are more like Maxwells perhaps.

    I miss Zanetti.

I just said runs, defensively there's not even a comparison.

Zanetti was mainly a RB btw.

I guess I accidentally wrote LB because I was thinking about Maxwell to compare with Cancelo.

He was more defensively sound as a LB, RB, DM, CM, LM, RM and so on anyways, so his point still stands

Cancelo's runs on the other hand remind me of Amantino Mancini. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. Right back who turned out to be a much better winger and when he came to Inter a not much better than anyone else kind of player.

Jz also played LB in the Triplete season so you were still correct.

So, his agent is pressing inter to relase Cancelo this January to go back to Valencia? If so, fuck it, bring Kondogbia back...he wont do worse then Jmario.
While we at it, ship Jmario to Valencia too...together with Cancelo.
I was was Inter, thats what i would tell Valencia, you want Cancelo back now, you have to take Jmario too
