That's why a lot of CBs breakthrough at smaller clubs. Really impressed with Bastoni - obviously he played a decent amount of first team football last season, but it's a different level entirely.
    ..Icardi?

hahaha, i was conscious of saying that actually - i think as a younger player, it works fine, but when you're the leader of the team, people generally expect a bit more involvement.

In the same way I wouldnt accept a mediocre midfielder (Gags?!) now, its all about a starting point right

Very impressive, this kid is already playing like a seasoned veteran.

Bastoni looks like a veteran. Not in a Valero way but in a Miranda way.

They would be insane not to. He’s the best young Italian defender in the league.

It will be hard to push the Juves presence of starting Azzurri CBs in Chiellini, Bonucci in Euro21, but Bastoni is already becoming the first man to look for when substitution is needed. One year to go. If he continues he will be certainly ahead of Romagnoli and that is the most hated idea down @redandblack forum

given mancini's desire to try to revitalise the italy squad a bit, you cant help but wonder if bonucci and chiellini get rotated out a bit and he looks towards the youth like Mancini, Bastoni, etc... Bastoni has really exploded since they last played, so who knows

The less he plays for Italy the better. Tge last thing we need is getting him injured. Dambro missed many important matches because of a national team injury.

Excellent season buddy. But I still don't get how we spent 30M on him. It must have been a big gamble.

Probably because they knew he was good and captained every level of the Azzurri youth set up.
