    Alessandro Bastoni

The contract is shown as deposited on the official Serie A website.

AlessandroBastoni is now an Inter player. The club can confirm the permanent signing of the 18-year-old defender from Atalanta B.C.

However, FC Internazionale have in turn agreed that he will now remain with Atalanta on a two-year loan deal.

Right decision to send him back to Atalanta. Bastoni would turn to Ranocchia no.2 if he move straight to Inter.

I read that we are going to pay €8m for him.

With players like Issa Diop and Juan Foyth available for this price, I only hope we made the right choice. Time will tell.

    Lol, it's the hashtag #mynigga.

In Italy less people care about these things, in US he would have already caught shit and took it down. Especially as a pro athlete

I'm surprised he hasn't been told to take it down. Not good publicity after the lemar ball incident

Tbf it's only in the English-speaking world, especially the US, that it's a particularly offensive word. And that's because of its connotation to slavery. In Italy and the Mediterranean, not as much. Do you remember Lazio's Paulo Negro?

not many people here know what "nigga" means. and those who know are mostly among people who love rap, where the word "nigga" kind of loses its derogatory meaning (as long as it's another black person using it): i bet that's where bastoni heard the word.

so i guess bastoni didn't have bad intentions, although i would strongly suggest him not to use the word in the future.

as for paolo negro, his last name probably comes from latin (niger --> black, for whatever reason it became the last name of his forefathers).

Erm, again, it's black in Spanish...
Inter is an artistic venture, almost poetic. It is capable of provoking immense, unreachable joy and bitter disappointment. It’s never done by half-measures.
For me, Inter is the opening to new worlds and courage. It’s a strong passion, a marvellous illness. You can put up with the weaknesses and admire the courage, the same way you would with a son.

Every language has its own evolution. "Pelo" means hair in Spanish, animal hair in Italian.
