Yes he scored a couple of beauties and yes his technique is quite good but anything over 35 to 40 mio is just insane to spend on him. Like he s far from beeing a sure bet ( i know there is no such thing) and i m not willing to take such a huge gamble on this guy.

On top of that there is no doubt in my mind that the fact that he is Italian adds at least 10 mio to the price plus who he s father is adds probably another 10-15mio on his price.
Don t believe me go and take a look what berardi did at 20/21 in serie a his stats are way fucken better and he also was more consistent and look at where he is now.

Just if your to lazy to research berarrdi in his first two serie a seasons: 31 goal and 17 assists
Chiesa in all of his 3 serie a seasons that he played thus far (3 seasons): 15 goals and 17 assists. If you just wanna compare their first two serie a seasons chiesa had 9 goals and 12 assists.
And hey both were roughly the same age in these seasons as in 19 to 21.Berrardi played 61 games in his first two seasons and chiesa 64.

Imho it s pure fucking insanity to even consider spending above 50 mio on chiesa and sadly thats what it s gonna take.
Finally someone who gets it, thank you! Chiesa is extremely overrated.
    I'm streets ahead.

Chiesa is at best a 40m player in this market. The fact that a rival wants him possibly adds 10m more since you pay the premium to not have him against you. If we cave on a 70m valuation we are nuts. We could go for a top player instead.

No one is going to pay 70m for Chiesa, not us, not Juventus. Why do these prices in rumours get everyone throwing fits around here?

Chiesa is an amazing talent. He can play as a winger on any side, or a support striker who can move around in all attacking positions. He has pace, vision, good feet, can score and assist. Moreover he has a lot of fighting spirit and determination.

He does dive a bit, but I can forgive that if someone can knock some sense into him. Let's not live under a rock and say that Inter players don't dive. Lautaro, Ambrosio, Asamoah etc drive me nuts with their antics. Chiesa is still young, and this part of his game should reduce for him to become a great.

Regarding the price, anything above 50m sounds way too high. But then we paid 25 or something for Politano who is just shit with no potential to grow. Two years back Bernardeschi went for 40m and I believe Chiesa is better than him. We had also offered 35-40 for Bernardeschi so it isn't like we didn't have the money or didn't rate him enough then.

Fiorentina traditionally have been hard asses, and especially towards us. There are more dynamics this time regarding the sale of the club etc. I think 50m, while high, is still a decent amount to pay for Chiesa. And neither us, nor Juve is going to far exceed that. The big challenge is to convince him to choose Inter over Juve.

Bernardeschi was and still is better than Chiesa. In the future that may change, but thus far I'd still take Berna over him.

they are a bit different. chiesa is a winger, bernardeschi is a striker who happens to play wide. neither is necessarily better than the other, although bernardeschi is admittedly more technically skilled.

Bernardeschi is a trequartista that plays wide, he's no striker.

to me, he's more of a second striker. you say he's a trequartista? fine, he's not a winger anyway.

we can compare them, but keeping in mind that they do not fill the same role.

I believe in the end we will sign Bergwijn instead of Chiesa. Comparing Bergwijn and Chiesa is like comparing Mane and Hazard

Maybe it's just me but when I play football, I would really love to have a teammate that plays like he does - with determination to own responsibilities, technique and courage to take on defenders, and willingness to play dirty and to use every possible chance to cheese opponents. If things go his way, he can carry the attack of a team by individual brilliance.

Sometimes I feel our approach to the game is too honest and fair.

For the price of Chiesa (70m) you could get Ziyech & Bergwijn. I'm not convinced by Chiesa at all

Is he really that dude? Didn't score during their downfall to relegation zone. Overall only 1 gol more than Frosi sub Pinamonti.

In today's market, someone of Chiesa talent and potential at only 21 years will be worth 50m-60m. I can understand why Fiorentina are asking for more since the two richest clubs in Italy want the kid, apart from rich clubs like Man Utd & PSG.

I would much rather Inter over pay a bit for Chiesa (50m plus Karamoh?) than see him go to Rube. IMO Chiesa and Kean are the most promising Italian talents in a long time, and I would hate to see both of them end up at Rube.

Good. If true, move on. Would have hated for Inter to waste the entire summer chasing and eventual Juve signing.
