It's such a nice change to have a striker who is a real threat both inside and outside the box. You can tell opposition sides have to defend differently against us now too.
Lautaro is talented but he is also extremely lucky. When he came to Inter his main rival was Icardi who gave Lautaro the floor because of his stupidity and arrogance.
I think you mean we're extremely lucky that a player in his second year in Europe has been able to step up so quickly and has us scoring more goals than anytime during the Icardi era. Before this season people were worried about how we were going to fill the goal void, but it hasn't been an issue at all.
Martinez makes his own luck cause he’s always running and chasing down opponents. His work rate is fantastic so deserves all the praise he gets. Give this man a new contract and remove that fucking release clause!!
Seriously! Why do we even insert them in the first place!!
We were too predictable with Icardi as the first violin under Spallo... All balls(not down there) and eyes were on him. Perisic was frustrating af, Politano just ain't nothing special... N9 was injured a lot.
Pretty clear stuff, no rocket science
I blame everyone for that, from Spallo who failed to our players.

the man can still improve, as long as he keeps his feet on the ground..

Sensi Rules!!!
We insert them because the agents keep demanding for them. Sometimes they backfire like Lautaro's case. We were able to get him a cheap salary first (in return he got the clause). Now as he blossomed this fast, we need to raise the salary anyway and they have the leverage of the clause to demand much higher salary.
Anyway we really need to remove that clause or double it or something.
I had a strong feeling he'd blow up this season. People were a bit impatient with him last season. He played erratically and the squad was a mess with a manager who was out of his element. The skill was always there. Now give him that raise so Barca can stop sniffing around him. Him, Skriniar and Barella will be the pillars to build on for the future.
Only remark to him is his passing. He definitely needs to improve it.
Lautaro's talent is clear. In fact, for me he is the new Milito. But I meant by the "lucky" part that he came at the right time at Inter. If Icardi didn't do stupid things or if Spalletti was allowed to stay for another year, or Inter hired a different coach (a one striker system type of a coach), attracted a wanda type, etc, he would have been mostly a bench player regardless of how much talent he has. How is this not luck?

Manchester City 'join Lautaro Martinez race'
Manchester City are reportedly weighing up a swoop for Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for Inter during the 2019-20 campaign, finding the back of the net on 13 occasions in 19 appearances in all competitions.
Martinez has managed eight goals in 14 Serie A fixtures, while he has also struck five times in five Champions League outings during a strong start to the season.
Manchester United and Barcelona have both been linked with the Argentina international in recent weeks.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia, City are also in the hunt with head coach Pep Guardiola viewing Martinez as the perfect player to provide competition for Sergio Aguero in the final third.
Inter are said to value the South American attacker in the region of £96m.
Antonio Conte: "During the season, I advise my players to have sex for short periods and with the minimum of effort, and better use positions where they are under their partners. And preferably, with their wives, because if with others, well, that needs extra action".
As I said before, anything that's not something absurd like 200m Euros is a bargain for this man.
Big European clubs are delusionally acting like Inter is some stepping stone club like Roma. We're clearing not selling any top well-performing player unless he forces his way out like a retard.

Dont ignore the financial side. Our sponsorship is down 50mil a year - if we dknt get some replacement deals we will urgently need plusvalenza esp if icardi/perisic/JM/gabitard dont all sell
