Juve kinda proved themselves without Ronaldo too in the past years, even against Barca and Real. They have been a CL contender ever since Allegri joined.

shit 4 EPL teams in the quarters... I hate this, but I hate rube being one of the best 8 even more. Still rooting for Ajax, hope these boys can do miracle and beat them all. Don't mind Porto winning the title either.

I still think Juve ain't going anywhere this season in CL. Their Scudetto is on the desk though, but as for Champions League they are not capable of winning it, unless another miracles happens just like against At.Madrid. In fact, the latter ones were awful, I expected more desire from their side. They basically stopped playing since the first leg. It was an easy ride for Juve in the returning leg though.

Also it was a very soft penalty on Bernardeschi. If you watch it closely, you can see him already falling down even before he got that slight contact. It was pretty stupid by that Atleti player who spread the arm despite that he had no chance to do anything as he was behind. However Juve deserved to win this one as they have shown so much passion.

They might get lucky to play against any modest team like Porto for example, but in a long shot I really don't think they can win the competition.

They have Ronaldo, when you have player like him you always have chance.

Teams who can actually win Rube imo are Barcelona and United. Also Liverpool. Ajax and Porto no chance.

An English final is pretty guaranteed at this point.
Inter is an artistic venture, almost poetic. It is capable of provoking immense, unreachable joy and bitter disappointment. It’s never done by half-measures.
For me, Inter is the opening to new worlds and courage. It’s a strong passion, a marvellous illness. You can put up with the weaknesses and admire the courage, the same way you would with a son.

Ajax to crash out next round, Barca & L'pool to reach the final, Pool to lose it two consecutive times.

Every club will have trouble against Ajax if they can reach the level of last week. Ajax always did it in the past very good against English teams based on the tactics. I hope we can draw United because we have to take revenche for the lost EL-final. Spurs would be fun with all the ex-players. Only Barcelona will be very difficult to beat, so let's draw them in the final.

Ajax isn’t that special, Real has just been that shit this year.

It looked a lot like our 5-2 game vs Schalke. That team wasn’t special either we were just shit.

Ajax better pray they don't get City, Pool or Farca. They will get the Lyon/Schalke treatment of 5+ goals.

Yeah...no. I get enough of that in EPL

I would like to see farca-city or farca-pool final though.

I would take an all-EPL final over a final with Barça and/or Juve (g-d forbid both) easily, but we all have our own biases.

Any final that doesn't include Juve is good enough for me.

Let's not pretend now that Ronaldo save them from the misery (even with his hat trick). Juve played the final in 2015 and 2017.

The issue is that that squad has drastically changed. They started out with Pirlo, Vidal, Pogba, Marchisio, Lichtsteiner, Buffon, and a better version of Asamoah.

Of course Ronaldo saved them. Juventus playing in 2015, 2017 finals, Madrid winning last 3 CLs means nothing to this year CL. Juventus were 2-0 down and were playing arguably the best defensive team in Europe. Ronaldo stepped up and scored hat trick, so obviously Ronaldo saved them.
