Amazing party in Amsterdam for Ajax's double... Such a shame it wasn't a treble.

    Just a glimpse:

And this is what club football is all about. ECA can fuck off.

British Tottenham Hotspur fan is shocked to discover his £100-a-night room in Amsterdam is actually a shipping container (with a portable toilet inside)

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...container.html

A British tourist who booked a £100-a-night home in Amsterdam through Airbnb was stunned to find the 'cottage' was a shipping container set up on the roadside.

Football fan Ben Speller arrived in the Dutch city ahead of Tottenham Hotspur's match against local team Ajax last week.

    [...]

the Londoner received quite the shock after arriving for his one-night stay to be met with a grey shipping container with three mattresses and a portable toilet inside at Pauwenpad, near the Prins Bernhardplein, in Amsterdam.

"As usual in Italy some decisions are made without sense and logic. The dark side of the football that we tried to clean up returns to light".

Well, it's a place to sleep. Can't ask for much more than that.

After Messi I think that Barcelona without Messi will have the same faith as Napoli with Maradona.
    I hate Juventus.

Eriksen on the goal he scored vs Inter that enabled their CL run: “The build-up started down the right, Moussa into Dele, who then turned and I thought ‘is he going to shoot, is he going to pass?’ but luckily he saw me, passed the ball and I ran onto it.

I knew when the ball arrived that it felt like everyone was on the ground, so I had to kick it high into the goal to avoid everyone. Maybe it was a bit lucky but they all count."

Good news: we moved from pot4 to pot3 and our group stage would be (theoretically) less harsh than this season.

FIRST RANGE Barcelona, City, Bayern, Juve, Psg. Zenit, Liverpool / Tottenham, Chelsea / Arsenal

SECOND RANGE Real Madrid, Atletico, Borussia Dortmund, Naples, Shakhtar, Liverpool / Tottenham

THIRD BAND Benfica, Leverkusen, Salzburg, Valencia, Inter

FOURTH BAND Lokomotiv Moscow, Genk, Galatasaray, Leipzig, Atalanta, Lilla

Their seedings are such crap. The winner of 4 of last 5 CLs is in pot 2.

Does the winner of Liverpool-Tottenham go in pot 1? In that case it would be better if Tottenham won. And what about Chelsea/Arsenal? Chelsea are already qualified. Ridiculous if any of them go in pot 1.

How is that good news? We are still gonna end with two huge clubs in the groups so nothing changed from last season really.

Nope, but at least you avoid the likes of Leverkusen/Valencia etc which definitely would be tricky. Right now I think the perfect group would be Zenit, Shaktar, Inter and Genk. But might not be possible for Russian and Ukrainian teams to be drawn together due to the conflict?

Worst case is Real/Bayern or City/Atletico which mean nothing has changed from last season. We gonna end up with at least one top 5 club in the groups.

We're getting Liverpool or Tottenham / Real Madrid / RB Leipzig. Yay.

Good news is that we avoid Atalanta on the group stage. So we can't lose 4-1 again.

The only teams I'd really like to miss out in the group stages are Dortmund, Barca and Liverpool.

Other teams I believe we can manage enough to get through. Especially when all the new reinforcements come in.

I DEFINITELY want Barcelona in our group. They're hopeless if you get two players to man-mark Messi. They reached a level of one player dependence that is almost unreal.

It all depends on what happens in the transfer window and more importantly what manager they're getting. If Valverde stays then 100% I want Barca in our group.

As much as that is true, we lost convincingly to a Barcelona without Messi.

Only one of the games and they've regressed since then. Also if things go to plan we should improve.

Either way I'd take them over most of the other Pot 1 teams aside from Zenit.
Pot 1 includes: Barcelona, Man City, Juventus, Bayern, PSG, Zenit, one of Liverpool(oh god no) or Tottenham and one of Chelsea or Arsenal.

Ironically, the (type of) player we missed the most this season - Rafinha - totally bossed us that game.

Still, we got a taste of Barca this season, time for other teams.
