MIHAJLOVIC AT INTER UNTIL JUNE 2006
    Thursday, 16 June 2005 16:13:47
MILAN - Cup final return leg scorer Sinisa Mihaljovic has extended his contract with Inter until 30 June 2006. Technical director Marco Branca and transfer market consultant Gabriele Oriali said: "This shows that our main desire is to reward those players who have shown not only their technical qualities on the pitch in every situation, but also professionalism and the desire to be part of this group that with last night's Coppa Italia victory capped the good work done by Mancini and the team this season. A year ago Mihajlovic came to Milan with the firm desire to add to his long list of triumphs with the Nerazzurri shirt. We are pleased to continue together with the same objectives."

    VERON TO CONTINUE AT INTER
    Friday, 24 June 2005 16:15:50
MILAN - FC Internazionale Milano have reached an agreement with Chelsea over Juan Sebastian Veron's permanence in Milan. The Argentine midfielder has signed a two-year contract that expires on 30 June 2007, and which was registered at the Lega Calcio offices this morning.

"We are very satisfied with how the negotiations with Veron and Chelsea concluded," said technical director Marco Branca and transfer market consultant Gabriele Oriali. "His staying at Inter was an objective of the club, Roberto Mancini and the player himself, who for some time had expressed his wish to continue together with us.

"As Massimo Moratti and Giacinto Facchetti have already said, we are working to continue a technical project that has seen Inter play well and get results in the season that has just ended. Veron's confirmation was a primary objective and it has been reached with the full satisfaction of everyone."

    PIERRE WOME JOINS INTER
    Thursday, 30 June 2005 16:16:43
MILAN - Cameroonian player Pierre Nlend Wome has joined FC Internazionale on a one-year contract (expires on 30 June 2006), which was registered at the Lega Calcio offices this morning.

"Wome has been one of our objectives for several months," said technical director Marco Branca and transfer market consultant Gabriele Oriali. "So we are pleased we have done a deal that is technically useful for the team and economically in line with the club's project.

"Wome is still a young player (he turned 26 last 26 March), but he has the right Italian and international experience to best settle down into Roberto Mancini's squad. Wome can cover a number of roles with consistency, and at left-back he has performed to excellent levels, last season and not just, when he was always among the best on the pitch for Brescia."

MORFEO BACK IN THE ARMS OF PARMA
    24 August 2005 - 21:51
…to sleep well, even it wouldn't be on the pitch,' explained chief executive on why Parma and the playmaker had agreed a three-year deal. Domenico Morfeo said: 'I fact that I came back to Parma had nothing to do with the new owner but because I have always got on well here, with or without Prandelli. The fact is that my will to remain counts a lot and that the club have made sacrifices to keep me.'

    The press conference on fcparma.com

INTRODUCTION FROM PARMA FC CHIEF EXECUTIVE ALBERTO PEROGLIO LONGHIN,

'The club are happy to announce officially that Domenico Morfeo will stay with Parma. He has signed for the next three years. His contribution is a guarantee of quality, talent and comprehensive on-field direction. Parma welcomes Morfeo back with open arms and we can all sleep well.'

Domenico Morfeo has explained his decision to return to Parma. The playmaker said: 'There was a chance that I would leave but that over now. I will be here for another three years. I spent the summer at home or the bar playing cards but I am back training and will do everything the other players have done in pre-season training. I am not 100 per cent so I don't know when my first game will be.'

Morfeo then spoke about the change in the Parma formation and said: It's a different way of playing and need to know if I will play on the shoulder of Corradi. It's up to the coach to make that choice but I don't know his intentions.

Looking ahead to the season, he added: 'It's difficult to say what the campaign with hold considering who has left and who has arrived, we must be realistic. We were a side that battled to stay in Serie A last season. The important thing is that the team remains compact that was the reason we stayed up last season.

Returning to why he was back at Parma, Morfeo added: 'I fact that I came back to Parma had nothing to do with the new owner but because I have always got on well here, with or without Prandelli. The fact is that my will to remain counts a lot and that the club have made sacrifices to keep me. I know the city and environment; the fans are educated and respect you, allowing you to get on with your work. We are a young side so we need that. Also the fact that we have a new president is a big help in relaxing the team.'
