You guys have the best thing going for you but what worries me is marotta will fail if he doesn't get full control, this CO-CEO bullish won't work for him. I think you will give him full power and slowly have him transition into it without upsetting your current CEO.

If not, I'll be curious to see how he does working under someone

At first glance, his reported approach seems to fit Inter. The most thing we need now is someone who thinks twice before spending every euro. Throwing +20m on Vecino's and Dalbert's is what got us here (our previous duo Sabatini-Ausilio take the blame). Let's see how this goes. Hopefully he doesn't sell any of our big players in order to generate more money (unless it's a 30 years old like Perisic).

I just think that more than anything is a conflict of generations.
This Juve was build and raised by Marotta. He is the man behind, he took all the glory (to a lesser extend Paratic). Probably the Agnelli kids now believe they can do the same and don't want to be in the shadow of the old man. The time will tell.

On the other side we need badly someone like Marotta. A guy who makes good deals, but waaay more importantly who have a strategy for a few years.
In my over 25y since I love this club. This was the painful perception. We don't have anyone there behind the curtain who had a strategy, how do I want to see this team in 3-5 years.
For all of their sins (more or less true) Moggi, Galliani, Marotta were these types of men. By us Moratti (a wonderful gentleman by the way), Branca or fucking other seemed clueless in this regard.

Juve wasn't raised and build by Marotta, you have to realise he was a nobody when we got him and his first decision with us was to hire Del Neri and then he persisted on keeping him for the entire disastrous season where we finished 7th. Then came Conte and again marotta was against that decision, it was the fans that made that choice happen. We made marotta into a champion when after two years in charge he finally realise he isn't in charge of midtable team samp where he came from. He got support and was given full power.

Paratici is the man who got us Ronaldo, cancelo Sandro pjanic etc. Marietta's signings are pirlo Vidal asamoah isla etc. So Agnelli were never in the shadow of marotta, if anything the old man has always been under extreme scrutiny, only for the last year has he been relaxed.

In short, all the horrible decisions were the responsibility of the director, but the best things were only decided by the one who stays and even fans?

Ok if thinking that way makes you less painful, feel free to do it.

Marotta was a nobody when he was hired by Juve? The guy brought CL qualification to Sampdoria.

    Inter have pretty strong core.

    Handa
    Skriniar De Vrij
    Brozo
    Icardi

With couple good moves and Inter is challenging Scudetto.

Being skeptic should be a right for those who have witnessed the coaching spell at Inter of another long-time Juventino like Lippi and all the bad moves that were made in the course of two summer transfer windows: from retiring Bergomi and selling Simeone to buying washed-up Juventus players, getting rid of a saviour and icon in Baggio, “italianizing” the team with a few amateurish players and betting on one hit-wonders/foreign sensations who flopped.

I mean, up until the final wreckage at the start of the abominable 2000-2001 season, Lippi turned into the worst Trojan horse.
While it's absolutely no use comparing him and Marotta, that trauma had an impact.

On a more rational note, Beppe is portrayed as (and arguably is) the best director in Italian football. A top “signing”.
Obviously, we don't know for sure what happened between him and Juventus, especially after the Ronaldo deal and the mafia ticket touting mini-scandal (but, wearing my tin foil hat, I can tell the weird Bonucci-Higuain-Caldara swap was a product of extra football relationships with Elliott, and Marotta didn't have much of a say about that either).
Let's hope he can do what he does best, execute his football planning and be successful.
Leaving Juventus, he won't be in the same favorable "position of power" and he'll surely have to rely on the arsenal of his old days.

High stake in a crucial moment for Suning.

Yes the fans made Conte happen, for the final 5 games of the season they harassed the board gently and Conte song was the only one playing in the stadium. The club was comming off two 7th place finished and they didn't mind the cheapest option in Conte while making the fans happy at the same time. You shouldn't think what I'm saying is ridiculous because i follow my club and you don't. Just like I can't ridicule you if you watch every inter game and present a fact. Also I never said all his decisions were wrong, your selectively putting words in my post, conveniently missing out I did mention pirlo Vidal etc as his signings.

Zeman took roma and challenged us for the scudetto, trampling you and Napoli along the way, mazzarri too. Spaletti didn't do bad before he came to you either. Point is sucessfull with midtable clubs prove shit all unless you replicate it to big clubs. I donno why you guys get the idea that I'm saying marotta is shit, I'm just saying juve's dominance isn't on him alone and his rise can be contributed a lot to how we made him a champion and let him do his thing. If you manage to handle him well I'm sure he will take all he learnt with us and make you challenge Napoli or whoever comes second.

All these players have something in common. None of them was a name before they came here (maybe De Vrij). Nobody here was utterly enthusiastic when they came. Maybe these are the types of players we need to look for and not the world class.

I never say you are telling fake stories. The stories were true, but the intuitive ideas you put into context are cherry picking i.e. you are choosing what you want to believe. Even if you read them from reports, they are from journalist, vague as hell. The coach choice is theirs. If you are a manager of multi hundreds millions company, will you sacrifice the whole season to make....some random guys happy? No, they chose Conte because they thought he was the best in that situation.

Secondly, you never know who decided which transfers. Marotta and Paratici surely didn't approve deals individually, but sat next to each other ffs. Every failure or successful transfer shared the same responsibility for both. As in Inter, there were some fans who pick out the excellent treble deals for Oriali and the shitty ones to Branca. As in Milan, there were fans who gave the credits to Mirabelli and the flops to Ausilio. All make zero sense. How could you know, unless you did attend the internal meeting?

I don't know about Conte and Rube, but Marotta was well known in Italian football before Rube because of his work in Samp.

That's why we hired him, and guess who he hired as his first coach? Del Neri because he's the coach who did that "work in samp" with Marotta. We all know how that turned out. Like is said success at midtable club does not guarantee success at a big club. For every hit there are 9 misses. But we worked out like a charm after a bad year, I'm curious to see how marotta will do.
