    Inter - Napoli (26 Dec 18)

    - Kick off: 7:30 GMT

    - Inter's previous 5 games: DLDWD

    - Napoli's previous 5 games: WWDWW

The eternal disappointment continues. On the bright side, there's a somewhat fit Nainggolan in the team, which is an absolute rarity these days. On the darker side, we're playing Napoli with a Milik who's in real good form. Considering Chievo carved holes in us, it's going to be a long night.

I'm 2/2 this season, so I thought I'd try my hand at a more difficult match. I think we can troll a win here, but I don't even know what midfield to play. I'm tempted to just go with Joao Mario-Brozovic-Nainggolan again, but it might just because I don't want to see Vecino or Gagliardini. Politano looks like he needs a rest too, but the alternative is Candreva, so no thanks. Spalletti won't 'risk' Keita against an attacking team like Napoli.

I'd recommend hiding some alcohol on Christmas day ready for this game. Mulled wine and cider might make this whole thing a lot easier.

    Happy holidays you bastards.

Is there a special reason you typed in 'november'? Might this have something to do with Inter's continuous 'great' results in the month of december?

If we hadn't let Matuzalem effortlessly walk through our defence in the 92'th minute, we'd be 9 points clear off fifth place.
Now, we actually really need points in this game, and getting even one point here means effectively ending the Scudetto-race (if we can even call it that). By december. Gifting the championship to Juventus.

    Good going, Inter.

Candreva to start on this one.

Well, at least Ancelotti has the least win against Spalletti.

And Spalletti somehow manages to get more win from Napoli.

Let's win this and then fire him in January.

Lazio is starting to dust off their shitty shape with a new formation, they have Bologna away, they will smash them. Chievo was a must win, now we find ourselves needing a win vs Napoli. The neverending Nerazzurri rollercoaster on a full speed. But nevertheless , Napoli IS doable if we show up.

Win this one, and I'll forget the chievo draw.

But the players must not forget about it, cause chievo must at least have taught them to kill the match while they have the chance

This has 0-0 written all over it.

As others have pointed out, now it's up to us to take points we need for our objective to simultaneously give juve the scudetto after half a season Fuck juve, fuck this league and fuck Inter too. Letting a relegation-destined, 20th place Chievo play freely for much of the 2nd half and then get a foreseeable equaliser is the definition of being a loser.

We'll dominate Napoli for 60 minutes with Politano having the game of his life. Then he'll replace Politano - not with another RW, but with a CM or Lautaro again, completely changing our shape again, completely losing our grasp on the game and we'll concede another late goal.

In the press conference he'll then reply that he "needed to rest Politano for Empoli."

Napoli is by far the top team against who we struggle the most. Last eleven h2h's in Serie A only one win, in april 2016. I can remember a good Coppa win with a great goal from Jovetic.
