Which matches do you feel more, those with Juventus or Milan?

Who was the last German that played in serie a? Klose??? He was like 35 when he played for Lazio.

It seems Brandt wanted to stay in Germany. He definitely could have gone to EPL. I wish we at least could have tried. I would love a German coach at inter. I would love conte to psg and we get Tuchel.

Forgot about khedira but I can’t think of any other.

Can and Khedira are both on Juve, Younes in on Napoli, and Rudiger was on Roma two years ago

Man thats how you fuckin do business.

So they signed Brandt, Hazard and Schulz who are all young and have done well in Bundesliga for the same price that we paid for Mario + Gabinogol.

And there's the so called 'inflation' in the market as well to factor in.

I don't see why from the players' perspectives they'd choose Inter over Dortmund.
A good performance, I dont know if we are talking about one point gained or two points lost. But the team did what it had to do."

Pretty sure Schulz recently admitted his dream is to play for Inter. If we make CL, I can see why they'd choose us over Dortmund as we are still the bigger club. Bayern Munich on the other hand I would understand.

Never mind. Why have players like that when we can sign Vecino's for 30mil.

It's as I was saying in the Politano thread. I don't like this small-minded belief of "we're not getting a better player than Politano for €20m" and "€25m is nothing in today's market." And I don't like seeing 'inflation' used as an excuse to support the signing of Politano as some kind of economically favorable deal.

This is exactly the kind of thing I'm talking about. The likes of Brandt and Hazard and Schulz all for ~€25m while we piss away that kind of cash on the likes of Gabigol, Vecino, Gagliardini, Joao Mario, Kondogbia, Politano etc.

Don't fucking tell me we can't find a better player than Politano for a comparable price. I suppose we can't find a better midfielder than Joao Mario for €45m either.

They WILL sign Haller too from Eintracht. Now that man will be their biggest weapon. Incredible, fast, firstintheline spending for 4 positions and its not even June! Hats off to Dortmund directors. They know Bayern is changing blood. Robbery gone, players aging. And they strike! Beautiful.

You guys aren't considering that Brandt wanted to go to Dortmund? Do you guys think it was Dortmund just beating all big clubs in Europe because of their prestige and greatness? Maybe it was Brandt wanted to stay in Germany and not go to Bayern because guaranteed minutes in Dortmund? How do you compete with that outside of Germany?

That is very true. Would still love to see Inter sell and buy smartly as they did.

Ditto with Thorgan as well. He wanted Dortmund, full stop.

I do have to wonder what Dortmund can offer that Leverkusen can't, however. I'm no expert on German cub finances; I do know that, as a "Plastik", Leverkusen isn't exactly running off Salvation Army donations, though. Wonder why, with CL football of their own, just why they couldn't keep Brandt.

(And I wonder how much more difficult it just got to pry Havertz away as well for the same reason.)

I mean dortmund is the more prestigious club and has more money than vize-kusen plus at dortmund you actually have the chance to win something which wont be the case at leverkusen. On top of that CL is basically a guarantee with BVB while its a gamble with leverkusen.

Last but not least i d much rather train under favre then under bosz.
But i m also heavily biased towards favre.
