Godin was confirmed by Marotta in a recent interview on inter.it

Finally I am seeing the proper names to be linked with! I would add De Paul, Lorenzo Pellegrini [€30m release clause payable in two years, which is valid for the next two years] and Stefano Sensi as a back-up solution.

I hope we sign Nicolò Barella and one of Christian Eriksen / İlkay Gündoğan / Granit Xhaka / Lorenzo Pellegrini / Sandro Tonali.

If the rumored price on barella is true (50+ Mil) id rather get tonali and Pellegrini with that Money. Both Young and very promising.

I think Marotta would also prefer to splash that ca$h on proper players instead of wasting it on coach rewamp and offer stability for a change, don`t you think?

Here`s my personal list so far. I know, rival`s players are unrealistic and I have intentionally excluded Edin Džeko we have plenty of options to improve the squad.

» wing-back: Nicolás Tagliafico / Emerson Palmieri / Cristiano Biraghi / Matteo Darmian / Alex Telles / Elseid Hysaj / Davide Zappacosta

» defender: Diego Godín <confirmed> / Matthijs de Ligt / Gianluca Mancini / David Luiz [free]

» midfielder: Nicolò Barella / Christian Eriksen / İlkay Gündoğan / Granit Xhaka / Lorenzo Pellegrini [€30m release clause payable in two years, which is valid for the next two years] / Sandro Tonali / Stefano Sensi / Héctor Herrera [free]

» DM <not sure if needed>: Ander Herrera [free] / Stanislav Lobotka / Alfred Duncan

» AM: Rodrigo De Paul / Josip Iličić [both feet, high IQ] / Juan Mata [free] / Zaniolo / Rafinha

» winger: Federico Chiesa / Jadon Sancho / Nicolas Pépé / Steven Bergwijn / Hirving Lozano / Malcom / Julian Brandt / Justin Kluivert / Gervinho / Yacine Brahimi [free]

Also Zurkowski IS a Fiorentina player, on loan for the rest of the season at Gornik Zabrze (where he was bought from). Hell of a player. You will hear this name again.

James seems to be pushing for that transfer. Having a world class coach does have that impact sometimes. Whether ADL will open his wallet is another thing, though he is generally quite shrewd with the transfers.

That said, James might work well in Ancelotti's system. Not sure if he will work that well at Inter.

I'm not that big on Pellegrini. I don't think he's a bad player, but I rate Barella higher. I've watched Barella dominate games in midfield against much better opponents than Cagliari. I've seen Pellegrini have good games, but prefer Barella overall. Also, I'm not sure what Pellegrini's best position is. It seems he does better being the advanced midfielder in a 4-2-3-1, but I'm not sure he has the ability to be consistently good in that role.

They are different players and could play together.

Yeah I guess Pellegrini is more offensive one while Barella is more complete midfielder.

Rumours are that Inter have put the following players on sale at these valuations:

    Icardi - €110m
    Perisic - €35m
    Vecino - €25m
    Gabigol - €20m
    Dalbert - €20m
    Mario - €18m
    Karamoh - €15m

Plus Keita, Soares and Vrsaljko will be returned.

Makes sense if true. Everything points towards a big summer for Inter, this thread will see some action!

Subtract 5m€ from Gabi and Dalbert prices, add 5m€ to Karamoh's.

TBH I'd actually see us get more for Vecino than Perisic at this point. We'll have done very well if we offload all that for that much.

Obviously it's a reach we would get 110m€ by selling Icardi. Then the rest, maybe half of those will happen (though not those exact prices I believe).

Isn’t that more then Icardis current contract release clause? Those are all super optimistic numbers

I see everyone being use as part of a trade for a better player.

Sad to not see Borja or Ninja on that list.
    VAR is some serious Bullshit!
