Yep, a mighty clan of two people. Behold.
Inter is an artistic venture, almost poetic. It is capable of provoking immense, unreachable joy and bitter disappointment. Its never done by half-measures.
For me, Inter is the opening to new worlds and courage. Its a strong passion, a marvellous illness. You can put up with the weaknesses and admire the courage, the same way you would with a son.

Marialuisa Jacobelli claims the agreement over Dzeko is 14m€ and will be formalized in a few days.

Oh, Marialuisa, show me your titties but don't tell me these news.

edit. Guess we are getting squeezed in these deals because we are in a super tough spot regarding forwards.

I don't mind the 14mil fee so much tbh, sure IMO closer to 10 would have been more appropiate, but we need that experienced striker and we need him now. I just hope it aint a 3 year deal....

People are ok with buying Cavani for 30 but not Dzeko for 20?

Agree, although it comes across a little falcao's law'ish

Dzeko for 15mil on a 2 year deal with same wages (4-4.5) is a good deal, especially in our current situation.

IMO because Cavani has always been a much better player than Dzeko.

That's because everyone hates Icardi, if that wasn't plainly obvious enough. Focusing on this particular facet, you really need to acknowledge that Icardi + Wanda being inherently unlikeable just massively exacerbates everything that has happened.

Yeah I guess 14m€ is okay. The contract is however rumored to be 3 years (reported weeks ago that we have the agreement).

Though honestly Dzeko seems to a good transfer at this point, so that 3rd year is just a collateral damage and necessity we have to accept if it comes.

What if we go for Cavani instead of Lukaku?

It suddenly makes this deal lost a lot of sense in it. Obviously we cannot predict the future when we sign Dzeko that the Lukaku deal would 100% fail and we have to go for Cavani.

But we can see it happening 1000 miles away.

Suddenly we have two players on high wage with similar expiry date that we cannot get rid of because we have them on 3 years contract.

    Have to agree.

If we do sign Dzeko, would like to see someone younger (Kean, if we're forced to deal with Juve for Icardi anyway?) as our 2nd striker buy instead of another old guy (granted Cavani is better than Dzeko, but still). Then maybe the SMS pipedream can become a reality.

I am not sure if Cavani is better than Dzeko for Conte. In my opinion Dzeko is now more complete than earlier in his career. His hold-up-play is pretty impressive these days.

It feels weird being behind signing a 33 year old striker. But that's how it is.

Yeah Dzeko might be excellent for Conte. He's smart player and can play as target man very well. We haven't had such player (apart from Ranocchia lol) so Dzeko brings more variation to Inter attack. I'd say Dzeko can be even starter if Lukaku quest fails and I really wouldn't be too sorry about that.

Dzeko would have been great 8 years ago. One of my favorite Bundesliga strikers. Now he's just a bad transfer in the long run in case this season is wasted. If not, we can slowly disintegrate him from the squad without caring much about his salary.

Dzeko can still score goals, he's skilled with the ball so he can do holdup plays up front and dish the ball. He will be useful. What we mostly need is Lautaro growing and finding the holes in defeneces to get to goal scoring positions. That would allow Dzeko to be more like an role player, given that we are going to get a starting striker.

In worst case Dzeko can start if we intend to focus on midfield in the market.

A starting duo of Dzeko + Lautaro won't be bad imo.

Would you start the duo of Lukaku-Dzeko and bench Lautaro?

Dzeko + Lautaro is acceptable in my books too if it means we've funneled our funds to a big starting midfield signing.

That's a really good duo upfront for 1-2 seasons. But we would need another forward as backup.

everybody hates em common! so he and wanda are invited to vecinos gf s birthday but everybody hates em? lautaro always said that icardi has been very good to him but he hates him? politano clearly showing suport for icardi when he scored but he hates him?
Which matches do you feel more, those with Juventus or Milan?
