It’s hard for us to pivot now and decide to drop big money on another striker after Lukaku.

There is still a chance that the Icardi and Dybala swap happens, at that point I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t sign another forward. If Icardi goes to Napoli then we certainly need one.
This is what Di Marzio claims as well. That we only have two options. Either a loan for Sanchez or Llorente on a free. All the other options are too expensive.

If Inter end up paying to sign Sanchez, either on obligation or even option, I would be very annoyed. Man Utd should be paying us to take him off their hands.

If the rumours about Sanchez agreeing to take a massive pay cut to join Inter are true, I am genuinely excited. If Sanchez is prepared to leave a lot of money on the table just to become relevant again, thats a very good sign. Its all about attitude, he already has quality.

Apparently he is taking a significant paycut. On option to buy, I wouldn't mind that.

Alexis Sanchez has agreed personal terms with Inter, claim Sky Sport Italia, and his agent is flying out for talks with Manchester United.

The Chile international is said to be enthusiastic about the move to San Siro, which will see him finally work with Antonio Conte after several close calls over the years, and take part in the Champions League.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio insists Sanchez has agreed personal terms with Inter, taking a significant pay cut to help the move go through.

Now his agent Fernando Felicevich will fly out to Britain for negotiations with Manchester United.

A loan deal with option to buy at the end of the season, most likely with a clause making it obligatory after a certain number of appearances, would be suitable for all parties.

It’ll also allow him to reunite with good friend Romelu Lukaku and would come at a total cost of around €20m.

This is a return to Serie A for the 30-year-old Chilean, who first shot to fame at Udinese from 2007-11, before moving to Barcelona, Arsenal and eventually Manchester United.
Ajax just thrashed Juve!! Fuck whoever uses the 'experience' excuse for signing bunch of mediocre 30+ year olds who do nothing other than laying in the treatment room and demanding high wages.

Man Utd might actually just go for this in order to get his massive wages off the books, but man they will be so thin up front. One major injury and they will be relying on Mason Greenwood.

    Stefan has spoken.

Much much better than getting Rebic or Llorente. This move is what exactly Sanchez needs but a coach like Conte? Idk.

Getting Sanchez would effectively mean that we are not exchanging Icardi for Dybala which I hoped for.

Napoli apparently have submitted a new proposal to Inter for 60 million plus bonuses. I don't think the prick would accept a move to Napoli but if he does we could go after SMS.

I just hope that we end up getting Dybala/SMS. We need that leap in quality.

Awful move. Anyone thinking Sanchez will get back to his pre-Utd form are deluded. He is finished as a footballer. I don't understand why we can't exchange Dybala for Icardi. Our attack will be far better with Dybala than a over the hill former world class player.

    Nice, From Dzeko to Sanchez.

I am sure he would make a great target man in place of Lukaku when time comes, what a master plan from Conte and Marotta.

I would have much preferred Dzeko, but this hopefully means that we’re not forced to sell Icardi for peanuts in order to buy another forward.
