From what I can recall there was very little. Sanchez really did not play much or make an impact down the stretch.

Sanchez didn't play much but his one good game under OGS I remember was where he combined nicely with Lukaku (1-3 win against Arsenal). Lukaku assisted Sanchez for the first goal and got the second assist as well.

Still not that optimistic about this one though.

Sanchez for a free loan or small loan fee is acceptable. And of course Sanzhes halfing his salary or United paying half or whatever. But we shouldn't commit on the guy. He's on the wrong side of 30 (relies on speed and agility), has played horrendously for 1,5 years, and has big salary even after halfing his current one. Big red flags for longer commitment.

We really like our United failures. Lukaku, possibly Sanchez and Darmian as well.

I dunno how I feel about Sanchez. He looked pretty much done as a footballer at United in the rare occasion I saw him play. And those absurd wages probably don't give him the enthusiasm and drive as he had as a younger man. Maybe a return to Italy can rejuvenate him though. Stranger shit has happened.

Sanchez is only 30. Pintus and Conte can light up a fire on his ass again. 3 years ago he scored 30goals with 15 asists in the EPL, was a beast year.

He can still be effective when fit and motivated. If its a loan and ManU paying half his wages then you don't find a better deal .

I would love go get Sanchez.

Not having success at one station isnt a shame. Sanchez was great everywhere beside United. He is 30, why should he be a bad player all of a sudden?

Like Mourinho, success everywhere but at United. Is he a bad coach therefore? No...

Everyone can fail at some point and at some club, it doesnt mean they are failers.

Looking at the values on transfermarkt, that is fair ammount they are offering.

What do you guys think about Milik anyway? The deal value-wise doesn't seem bad at all but I'm really not sure with his injury-proneness.

He is only 25 and has already done his knee twice.

That is true, and also for a reserve that he will be here, I don't see that he can have bigger impact in next season as Llorente for example.

Milik+40 is a absolutely a good deal for us and for Napoli. He’d be coming as Lukaku’s sub so we can better look after his knees too.

The only problem is convincing Icardi (shit, anyone really) to move from Milano to Napoli, because it really is just not the same thing. Maybe he can live in Sorrento and commute each day

And then yeah, as JJM keeps saying, take those 40m, add another 15 of our own and pack Gagliardini’s bags for SMS.

if Politano leaves (which seems like it will happen) Dybala has still space in this team. Sanchez will be the last option for our strikers at that point.

Could you provide some reference on that? Haven't heard about it.

Are you just saying that he was not a player he targeted?

Even if Man U cover 50+% of his wages, he still makes way too much to be the last option off the bench. If he comes, it's gotta be with the idea that he's going to play a fair amount.

20+mil a year gross, 10+mil net. He's probably been surpassed at this point, but a year ago he was the highest paid player in England.

5m per year does not seem outrageous salary, sanchez is still good with his NT, just for what he earns at man utd, I can see why theyd want to get rid of him
