And you know what? Maybe Conte is right. In reality, we have a place for both of them, those players are not mutually exclusive. The question is who is going to come in the winter as we are probably talking about one player. In a weird way, maybe Vidal is a better idea; at least Tonalli would have more playing time. I don't think he would abandon Brescia mid-season anyway.
Excellent point. But I'm afraid if we get Vidal for alot of money we maybe can't get Tonali. The ideal situation would be if we can get Vidal on a loan and get Tonali in the summer. We have a quick fix and as you mentioned Tonali will get more playing time and he propably won't leave Brescia mid-season.

I think getting Vidal with his experience would be better short-term, Tonali would be fantastic in the long-term. But only if we can get Vidal on a loan and not for 40M(if that is really the price Barca wants).

I personally think getting both is feasible if we account for transfers out. E.g. I really don't see Gags and Vecino having a future in this club; if one of them goes, that's probably 20m+ for us.

The situation you stated is indeed ideal but I'm wondering whether Vidal on loan can happen. I'm a bit more convinced that this could happen with Rakitic. Anyway, I think we agree on the general strategy.

De Paul isn't great, but is a huge upgrade over Vecino/Gags. He is a great rotational player for us.

Shame we aren't linked to Sander Berge, would be great as Bro sub in the long term. Also would cost half of what Tonali would cost.

For the rest, I'd still be happy to see Ziyech over here.

    On paper only.

He is more of a #10 in a weird 3-4-1-2 setup and the only thing that makes anyone think he's a mezzala is that he drops deep to become the playmaker. He's not defending as a left mezzala in a 3 man midfield so there's that. And if he's sometimes forced to do it, he just cannot pull it off.

Inter tries to accelerate for Rodrigo De Paul. According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Argentine is the right profile identified by the Nerazzurri leadership to strengthen the midfield. Udinese's request is always 30-35 million: Marotta is ready to offer a loan with the right of redemption, maybe obligatory buy...

Aside from pros and cons of signing him from our perspective, I am genuinely surprised that Udinese is even considering off-loading him mid-season. Personally, I would consider them a very strong relegation contender without him. Even with him they are in a considerable danger IMO.

Imagine strengthening the Inter squad and relegating Udinese with one transfer.

Inter scouts at Napoli-Genoa to see Kevin Agudelo, the colombian midfielder that is a regulary starter since Thiago Motta is coaching Genoa. Could this be our new midfielder at January?

he also scored in he's first game.

Kevin Agudelo’s Agent: “Inter Are Following Him, I’ve Already Been In Contact With Them”

Predrag Risticvic, the agent of Genoa youngster Kevin Agudelo, has claimed that he has already been in contact with Inter regarding his client.

“Inter are following him. I have already been in contact with the Nerazzurri. As for January or next summer, it has not been decided yet. It will depend on what the two clubs agree,” he remarked in an interview with Interdipidenza.net.

The 20-year-old Colombian only joined Genoa this past Summer from Atletico Huila and has caught the attention of Inter in his four appearances for the club.

Agudelo, is primarily a central midfielder or attacking midfielder but also capable of playing out wide as evidenced in Genoa’s most recent match away to Napoli.

Agudelo is just the latest in a long line of young talents that Inter are understood to be casting their eye over. Brescia’s Sandro Tonali and Atalanta’s Dejan Kulusevski, who is out on loan at Parma are both believed to be targets as is Argentine talent Matias Godoy, who is currently starring at the under 17 World Cup.

4 appearances Surely it can't just be me who is so skeptical with all these new names.

The market is so competitive and every team is trying to discover the next Mbappe in advance. As a result, everyone goes nuts over any new, young-ish player who has a handful of decent games.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not "hating" on the players themselves. Some of these breakout players will go on to great things, like Dybala or Icardi. I'm fully aware that this is just how football (and the media) is these days. But I truly hate how that is the case.

Seems that every year, with increasing frequency and fervor, I see reports of our alleged interest in some goon I've never heard of. I google search his name only to find out the dildo has has played less Serie A games than I have shits taken in the past week. Every time I see these headlines I nearly fall over backwards off my chair due to my eyes rolling so hard.

As firmino said, it reminds me of the old days of PES / Winning Eleven. Agudelo, Kulusevski, Kumbulla, Ruud vom Mistelroum and Roberto Larcos.

Eriksen for free? It would easily be the deal of the century! Too good to be true.

If you're Real Madrid or Barcelona. Or Bayern perhaps which is a reach, but I'm pretty sure they'll go for it if he hasn't agreed on a deal elsewhere.

If we manage this, surely, deal of the decade for sure.

Eh, I like him, but Sneijder was better tbh.

I would be prepared selling Brozović to support Eriksen wages

Seen only one game with this dude (versus Manchester City). A friend of mine who follows Ukrainian footballers closely told me that he's decent and could be a very good asset to the team. Would like to see him at Inter.

The talent level has diminished since Sneijder's era. (And even more looking further back). That's a completely different discussion. The reality is that from the current players in their prime in that position, Eriksen is one of the best.
