    Did you watch the match?

Yes, we need to make excuses even after a win.

A truly horrible performance by one hour. There wasn't much added after the dreadful first half and we ended up going 0-2 before we started the comeback. So we can't attribute too much credit to Conte for that. I can give Conte that his subs were good after (edit.) we scored 1-2, that put immediate pressure to Torino and our players were even more eager to press them and win the ball back.

But what a shitshow it was still. We didn't manage to create that much after the 2-2 and VAR decision saved us this time indeed. We could have scored later too of course but that shouldn't be our strategy and the backbone of our game. Against honestly SHIT TEAMS like Torino.

edited. fuck what am I writing, I meant to say "his subs were good after we scored 1-2"

What I find weird is we never learn from the past. Mediocracy only invites mediocracy. How can some see any positive signs in this Inter since Conte and his Puppet Marotta joined the club? Eliot in one year and a half changed Milan and turned it around. Marotta has been here for two years and he is still clueless.

Going down to Toro without their leader and best player should be a fireable offense. But we did. The only that’s saving Conte right now is Lukaku. We’re deluded if we think this is a scudetto challenging squad at this point in time.

Yesterday we played just 20 minutes and we scored 4 goals... That's all.

The first 70 minutes were a disaster! We cannot accept to see Inter playing so bad!

Until now, i think that the season is really deludent! The problem is that the last summer something has been broken in the relationship between Conte and Inter. The decision to continue together could have been a mistake i think.

    We will see....

I can understand the frustration of watching a shit performance, at least the first 60 minutes yesterday was banter era level stuff. But that said, some of you guys are over reacting. We are only 8 games into the season and are just 1 point behind Juve - this is not the time to be talking about sacking the coach.

We have had poor patches literally every season in the last decade. Even with Spalletti and Mancini when we finished in the top 4, we had some really shit patches of form. The difference this time is that we aren't sinking down the table like a stone. If our performances remain the same for the rest of the season, of course we should sack Conte. But if our performances improve, we have everything left to fight for this season. IMO we have as much chance of ending up like Mazzarri's Inter as we have of winning the scudetto. So lets bring down the rhetoric a bit. Its too early to say.

Also, its ok to rejoice a win. Even an poor win like yesterday. Its not a crime to be happy for 3 points.

Tactical masterpiece yesterday. He really put together a gameplan Mancini would be proud of. Clueless in attack after 60 minutes? No problem, just put all of your attacking players on the pitch at once and hope for the best.

Starting a midfield of Barella, Gagliardini, and Vidal with three CBs behind them is laughable and defies logic. There's no hope for a lineup like that to score. The icing on the cake is that somehow that "defensive" lineup still managed to concede two goals.

I don't know what the point of this team is anymore.

I dont know why some of you keep bringing this up. What did you expect the gap's going to be after 8 matches? 10 points gap?! It's not just about the gap points between Inter and the worst Juve in a decade, nor it's just about the league table. The problem is that the performances have been so poor, the team struggles to click minus some moments in some matches, the defence is poor, Conte keep making weird decisions, he omitted Eriksen from the game completely for the likes of Gagliardini and struggling Brozovic and an aged Vidal, and the team is last in a bang average CL group with zero wins!

What a hard fought win against a garbage team at home going to cover about all the poor signs the team and the coach showed so far? You think that's because we are just early in the season and the team is going to flourish soon? I hope so. But let's not sugarcoat these terrible performances and all the lost points because the team just beat the mighty Torino, or because we are just 1 point behind the worst Juve in a decade.

We have a stubborn coach who keep making odd decisions which cost us a lot of points, and doesnt seem to have any other idea about how to get the best out of his players.

Conveniently not mentioning that we re basically out of the CL.........
The real problem is that we are worse then we played last season and conte does not seem to give one fuck, neither does he seem ready to even change his approach the slightest bit. It s like it s always has been his way or no way.........

Also just cause i hate conte and want him sacked dont think for a second i did not celebrate each and every single of our goals yesterday.
I just lost the hope with conte and i think the chances that we end up next summer without any silverware without conte and without skriniar and eriksen are much bigger then than chances of us winning even a coppa with this fucker in charge.

WHat other than Jube and lazio also playing like shit has given you hope this season that we might win something?
Which matches do you feel more, those with Juventus or Milan?

It'd be easier to digest this cunt being here if we shuffled things a bit:
    De Rossi to coach Lazio.
    Di Canio to coach Roma.
    Ambrosini assistant at Inter.
Materazzi to coach Milan with Nedved as his assistant.
    Bergomi to coach Juventus.

Then maybe this shit wouldn't feel as filthy and awkward.

I have a bigger problem with Conte being paid huge amounts and still failing to take this Inter a step further. I'm not emotional enough to care about his past in football.

Has Conte been stubborn with choices, yes he has, has he made mistakes, yes? But is the team stronger than when he came in? That's a definite yes, I think in every game we dropped points you can see that the game could've turned out differently but we either missed some chances or made a dumb mistake costing us the points. Is this a defence? No, but I think we should be a bit more patient in the circumstances.
    Agree.

It's not a coincidence that Atalanta and Inter are having a difficult start. Both teams had no pre season, don't forget that. And how do you want to get stability with that national games and all the players that had covid? We had to change almost every game at last 2-3 players. How many times did we play with our starting defence? Skriniar had covid and was tired after the national games. To not forget that we had to play Kolarov in the first games and fucking Rannochia. Same for the midfield. Conte wanted to try a 3412 with Eriksen Brozo/Barella and Vidal at the begining. We probably already saw 5 diffrent combinations in the midfield. Sometimes because he wanted to try something, sometimes because he was obbligated to do it (Brozo and Gagliardini covid, Sensi injury...)
Hopefully everyone can stay fit now and we can play without changing to much every game. The players need to find continuity.

    This is the issue indeed!

While Juve struggled at the start as they were missing CR7 and De Ligt in some games. They are now back and Juve isn't poor anymore, they are only getting better from now on is my fear.

At the same time we should have been there in place of Milan, topping the table and putting huge pressure to Juve to get to us and perform every week. But we are not, we are fucking behind Juve. And our game isn't looking any better than at the start of the season. Ours and Juve's trends and forms are not looking alike, that's why "only 1 point behind" looks scary, not promising or even decent.

Conte has not been able to figure out how we should defend EFFECTIVELY as a team and keep the balance with the overloaded attacking. Eriksen is not playing at all, Hakimi is like almost wasted with his touchline hugging/standing. Barella and Vidal are playing every match and they will be exhausted as hell pretty soon. Vidal already cannot play 90 mins at high level (as he starts EVERY MATCH) and Barella doing so week in week out will make him suffer too at some point.

The worst thing about burning Vidal and Barella out is the lack of quality depth behind them. Sensi is getting back to “full fitness” whatever that means in his case. Brozo is hit or miss and seems to be regressing under Conte. Gags and Vecino are Gags and Vecino. Nainggolan looks done and most definitely wants to be somewhere else. Eriksen will be gone in a month. What was supposed to be a strength this season looks like the exact opposite so far.

Also there is the chance of conte finding a new employer before the years end unlikely but still.

On top of that lets not kid our selfes and act as if conte would not bitch in jan until we spend money on some shitty players we ll have no use for once he leaves. Or will sell Eriksen and Skriniar under value cause we have to finance xhaka or some other shitty player for him.

I can only repeat firing him is not the economic disaster we think it is as it will only increase our costs marginally hiring him was.
I completely agree, we're paying for Conte either way. It would depend on who out there is available, but I wouldn't close the door on sacking Conte. I hope I'm wrong, but it seems clear that we're on a downward trend now with Conte, who doesn't really care anymore. There's no point in sticking with a manager if it's not going to work out. Proactivity should be encouraged.

Even more so if we know that he wants to force out two of our most talented (eriksen/Skriniar) players in the squad.

I think we need to get rid of Gags, Vecino, Naingo and Eriksen. Get 2 quality CM so we can rotate Barella and Vidal. Find a quality alternative to Hakimi, get 1 more striker so we can rotate Lu-La and make Alexis compete with Sensi for a spot behind the strikers.

Sorry but this post is too idiotically positive. A puke worthy. You are happy being “only” 1 point behind the worst Juve, ignoring completely that we are 5 points below a Milan team led by fucking 40 years old striker and a former coach who failed here. If points really matter to you at this time.

But you dont worry about an unpromising performance by the most paid manager in the league and bunch of big investments in the team. Its not just bad, its unpromising and I cannot see us improve at all at this rate.
