    Exactly
this season? They are in quarter final of champions league so overall they made a big ass progress in their first season of cl much more than what we did in the past 2 years. In serie a, no; they are exactly where they were last year.

As much as I love Skriniar as CB, he is just not good enough as RCB. That's the truth Ruth.

I'm really curious what Marotta and Conte will do with him. It might be that they will give him 1 more year, but it's possible they won't and if that's the case I just hope we will come better after that. When ibra was sold to barca, few people expected what will come out of it.

Had Conte been here for a few years and it was his "break or die" year, we might keep him, but it's possible Conte will stay here for quite some time and we cannot have a 100mln player playing like 30mln player. It's not only bad for a team, but also bad for business.

That's rough but it's possible we will not see Skriniar here for that long. But winning without him is better than loosing with him.

82 points. Best defense. Only 4 defeats.

I also complain about our ability, his subs, Eriksen and all that but the bottom line is that we did a very good season in serie A. Im optimistic he can achieve more and win titles here. Forza conte.

For the xxxth and last time, it wouldn't mean jack if they finished 5th. Standing is what determines your final positions and thats what matters most in the end of the day.

but surely getting the same standing with more confidence is better? 4th with 8 minutes spare vs 4th with 4 games spare is a huge difference

Conte having a go again it seems at marotta and Ausilio. Saying he had to go to great lengths to get lukaku. I would say he is far from pleased at the club trying to dictate transfer strategy and forcing someone like Erikson on him.

Atalanta are 3rd in Serie A, and in quarterfinals of the CL. In the last 12 months, they have spent -45m ie made a killing on the transfer market. Forget about making progress, their season has been an unprecedented and spectacular success. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to get their head examined.

One of the most progressive clubs in Europe. Just amazing what they have achieved in the last few years with so little investment.

To me it sounds we're going for a big clash between coach and management after the end of Europa League. There's clearly a rift between them.

Yes, he is saying him and the players were attacked from all angles and the club offered no protection at all. Looks to be some type of division clearly. I can't see conte walking from this contract though.

Wow. It couldn't be clearer than this.

Conte: “I’ve seen attacks against me and Inter. And there is little protection from the club. And so, the players and I will enjoy these 82 points. With all due respect to others. Myself, my coaching staff and the players.”

After this I seriously doubt Conte will be at Inter next season.

Marotta knows how to handle him. Tomorrow he can say this is the best club he ever worked at. I wouldnt be excited about it.

Marotta seems entirely logistical and methodical whereas Conte throws the toys out of the pram frequently. I bet marotta fucking hates working with him lol

Conte has always been a cribber. But like most top coaches, he has demands in terms of players and usually gets what he wants. That is one of the benefits of a top coach, the management cannot just brush him off. This tension can actually be good for the club - a compromise between Marotta & Conte can bring a balance in the transfer strategy between long term and immediate objectives.

That is, as long as Conte doesn't do or say something childish - unfortunately he is capable of that. In terms of temperament, he reminds me of what Mancini was 12 years ago. He needs some maturity.

Him leaving is the recipe for disaster. We bought players for his 3-5-2, including Hakimi.
And I can't find a good 3-men coach available out there. Gasperini? Inzaghi?
I don't like Allegri as the tinkering solution at all.

I don't think he will leave. He's clearly pissed, but neither marotta nor Suning want to lose him.
