He gets to be in LGI after he wins the title this season.
No amount of butthurt here can stop that.

I don't understand what people are crying about. We're about to win our first trophy in a decade. The previous decade has probably provided us with some of the least talented, poor performing squads in the history of the club. Inter hasn't exactly made winning Scudetti a habit.
Try and enjoy yourselves. We can worry about the UCL next season.
10 straight wins and the elusive Scudetto within our grasp, and yet people are complaining.
Slowly but surely, Conte is instilling a winning mentality on these players, many of whom are young and can serve us for years. 2nd half of the season Inter usually started fucking up like losers, but this time we have created a record of straight wins in the 2nd half of the season. We are winning games we usually would have lost, even when playing poorly. This is what we call winning mentality. This is beautiful.
its probably in Serie A I'd guess. Man Ciy probaably did it. few years ago when Liverpool caame close to winning the league?
after two months of CL next season, we wont have to worry about UCL againTry and enjoy yourselves. We can worry about the UCL next season.

Why do we need to play beautiful football? I just want Inter to win and win, Trophies and more. I care a damn about beautiful Football.
This is where Italian Football is confused these days. There are so many defensive howlers in an Italian game these days, its just unheard of. I grew up on the likes of Nesta, Maldini, Cannavaro,Matrix and they were absolute colossus of the games. WHy do every italian team just want to play like Barca, i can note so many times, dfeenders are getting caught up, trying to play a beautiful pass rather than just clear the damn ball. Its just Media propoganda of beautiful football..Why getting caught up in that?
Its like not everybody can be Roger federer, but with attitude and fight, they can be Djokovic or Nadal too. And whats wrong in that?
Even a well timed tackle is beautiful, even a tracking down of attacker is beautiful, and then hitting on the counter and scoring precisely is beautiful. Now what Conte needs to learn is to not sitting on a lead, its just dangerous and inviting trouble. Other than that he is just World Class..
Playing beautiful football against Barcelona and Dortmund last season did not get us anywhere other than eliminated from the Champions League. Personally, I do not think we have the calibre of players that can perform at that level consistently for 90 minutes. The way I see it, we need to play to our strengths and run our own race rather than looking to play like Barcelona and Real Madrid. Playing beautiful and not getting results does not count for anything which is why we need to do what works for us as a club rather than looking at the mainstays of European football. The only thing that I would ask is that we work on an alternative game plan in the event that Plan A does not work.
For Inter to compete in the Champions League, we need something more starting from having reserve players to cover the likes of Lukaku (so that he can be rested throughout the season) and have adequate cover on the left flank. I think we should get DiMarco back to play in rotation with Perisic. We also need something different and extra in midfield: different to what we already have that offers variation to our game both in terms of tempo and creativity. Eriksen being utilised in the way he is offers little going forward and we need a player that can help us change gears. We also need a reserve keeper that we can count on and start grooming for when Handanovic declines to the point that he will no longer be an automatic starter.
And lastly, and possibly most importantly, we have to learned from our last two group stage eliminations from the Champions League and put those valuable lessons into practice.

Also to note, sitting deep and relying on counter is not the default tactic of Conte. I think his default tactic is the one that we used in first part of last season, i.e. pressing high all over the pitch. It is risky tactic because the defenders would push high but we executed well last season. The downside of this, other than it is risky, is probably it really drained the stamina of the players. Given that we don't have sufficient backup players, it did not sustainable for a full season. We did it also early in the season but with different formation (3-4-1-2) which makes it even more riskier and therefore we conceded lots of goals. Combine with our bad finishing we wasted many gold chances and had a slow start this season.
Conte applied this tactic rigidly really just in the last 6-10 games. I kind of think it relates to the gas in the tank of our players. We have a congested season without proper rest and pre-season after the last one and therefore he adapts and choose tactics that fit with the physical situation of our players.
I can imagine if he insisted using his default tactic, i.e. pressing high all over the pitch, many of our players will be dead or losing concentration which will make us losing points against minnows.
I agree with some points of Brehme’s post.
However, I will enjoy the fuck out of a Scudetto. It’s not like pandemic came only to us. If we are lucky in a way or another, so fucking what? Mourinho once said it’s better to be lucky than good. I will enjoy the Scudetto to the max if we win it.
Forza Inter
While it can be said there were harder fought scudettos in some of the past seasons, Inter and Conte should be congratulated for not bottling it. I did expect us overcoming Milan in the second half but not by 10 straight wins.
And then Juve started to fuck up as well and it seems like that sparked even more incentive from Conte to not fuck this up. Consistency will always be key and seeing how we fucked up in Europe, at least our team redeemed theirselves with pride.
There's a middle between beautiful football and ugly football made of panick defense and stressful endgame, for me it's called control and calm football, something we showed, with the peak being Juve game. But for 4-5 games, it's not the case anymore.
I don't want hourra football, even though I enjoyed some Pazza Inter moments, I just want less chaotic endgames.
For me winning by playing good defense is beautiful![]()
But we're not doing that, at least not in the last half of our streak, but the way it started was genuinely glorious. This is why I have consistency concerns. A team that can be set up well defensively does not rely on form, because if all that was is just form synching up for a few players then it's not sustainable and our current trend is showing that for now.
If it keeps bringing wins and avoids losses, it's going to feel great. But it just feels like that Mancini time and we're one blunder game a la Fiorentina at home to screw the mentality up. This is also why the team benefits at the moment from having no fans imo. Lots of our players could have collapsed under pressure.
