Agreed but his options on the bench are 20 years old Bastoni and shitty Ranocchia.

    - - - Updated - - -

I’m sure at some point he had thought about starting Bastoni but went to the safer bet. Godin was clearly exhausted.

You horrified or aroused by it?

Both are benchwarmers is the point I’m trying to get at, whereas I’d rather give a shot to the highly rated 20 year old who we paid 30mil for in that hope that we can eventually replace godin with someone we can rely on for the next 10 years.

Recoba was world class, Ranocchia is not. You could have used Kallon instead.

How can you compare Recoba and Ranocchia? About the only comparison that you can make is that their respective surnames start with R.

Ranocchia's biggest problem is that he is shit. Recoba's biggest problem was that he constantly struggled with injuries. But he was truly world class and a very special player. One of my all time favourite Inter players.

Doesn’t seem like he can keep up anymore with those 2 games a week schedule. He was weak today.

Yeah, interesting how shit he has been lately compared to the start of the season when he was a total boss. Game once per week is what the doctor says.

Yet some members here still doubt how being over 30 is a cause for concern.

I didn’t want him on the team but hey one time a week is better then Vidic #2

Again would love to replace him with a younger CB next season.

Wasn’t the point of signing this guy precisely to help with mentality issues, as well as shoring up the defense? He seems to collapse right along with the team.

Been disappointing for a few weeks now imo.

He did well on a few occasions but its hard for anyone in the back line to sustain this kind of pressure for 90 mins. Where i think he should have stepped in was demanding the ball more, he has good long range passing and also on their 2nd goal, even though Brozo was at fault he could have demanded the ball to be played to him and he can launch it forward.

I think he was the only CB to show up tonight.

De Vrij was swamped and Skriniar had to deal with his stuff as well as dig out the shit he received from Biraghi.

    Optical illusion.
I don’t want to imagine the horror show he would have been if he was playing LCB today and defending Sancho and Hakimi.
They didn’t even pressure much on his side.
You can admire his experience and high IQ, but he’s past it man. I say bench him, and develop Bastoni.

  30. Thanks (2): Il Drago, thatdude
