If this is how Sensi will be used for the second half of the season, I'm cool with it. I'd rather have a functional Sensi for 45 mins every week than a Sensi who starts 2 games and stays injured for 6 months.

That playing style make him injury prone. In other hand Gagliardini playing style help him to stay free injury all season.

Incredible game, even when he doesn’t have the ball he plays at a level above other players.

He doesn’t even need a goal or assist stats to justify his performance, the team just ticks whenever he’s on the pitch.

In a way I am glad Sensi was not risked yesterday. Looking at his injury history, I doubt he is ready to play every 3 days yet. Specially in rainy conditions.

Yeah I wanted him to come on, but playing Sensi in that game would have just been asking for an injury. We should be looking to increase his minutes gradually.

The risk-aversion strategy of not-playing Sensi is quite perplexing. Seems like this guy will never be able to step foot on the pitch if the conditions are suboptimal (e.g., wet, rainy weather, bad pitch, idiotic coach, etc.).

Rains in Rome and he’s not playing again. Frustrating.

We need to give more credits to Sensi’s defensive power. Sure he loses all his aerial duels. But he’s very combative and precise on his man marking and tackling. When we are defending a weak lead, we don’t necessarily need to sub in Gags all the time.
