Conte will demand Kante in January (if he makes it that far), Marotta will capitulate to Contes will and we’ll sell Barella for €50m to make the funds for Kante who proceeds to tear his ACL in his first fixture with us and Barella becomes one of the best in the world over the next few seasons while we’re stuck with a crippled Kante and high wages. Long after Conte is gone too boot.

Barella doesn't strike me as the kind of guy that would push for a big-ticket move or huge contract. He seems like the spend time with his family, humble type. Of course nothing would surprise me in the modern game..

Give him a raise and make him captain. I don't see anyone else worthy of the title at the moment other than maybe Skriniar (if he stays) and Bastoni (in the future).

And he balled out again. Great game, was just missing a goal.

Almost had three great assist. One with a flick, identical to his assist to Lautaro against Real, which later on missed by Bernardeschi, the second one to Insigne was ruled offside because Belotti was blocking the goalkeeper, the third one was a clever one to Emerson, which was blocked by the defender. Great game by him.

If we don't sign Locatelli to pair this kid, then we should just lie down and die.

And Locatelli keeps singing praises about how they are close and he loves playing with him . It’s like Inter just need to pull the freaking trigger!

We need him to add goalscoring to his repertoire as well, starting with the upcoming game.

It would help if he didn't spend most of his time on the pitch covering for D'Ambrosio as RCB.

This is the kind of thing people take issue with regarding Conte's tactics. It's fucking ludicrous to have so many players push up so often, exposing us to easy counter attacks every single game.

The amount of times D'Ambrosio was ahead of Barella is just fucking ridiculous. What is even the point of pushing an offensively incompetent and technically poor RCB into a playmaking position and forcing the ball-playing midfielder to drop deep in our own half and cover for him?

It's not even covering. Covering is when the player goes on an attacking run leaving a gap behind, which someone plugs.

In our tactics, it is a very deliberate ploy to have the technically incompetent player in an advanced position where they are useless. And move Barella back to a position where all his skills are wasted. Kudos to Conte!

Barella must play as box-to-box midfielder and he can be really dangerous in the offensive side.

Yesterday he was really limited in his skills playing so back...

Every game he plays for Inter his starting position is getting closer and closer to the right wing. WHY. Using him as a CAM was one thing, but incredibly, Conte decided that he wasn't being out of position enough there, so now he sits on the wing swapping passes with Hakimi until one of them plays it back to Skriniar.

    What a fucking waste.
