Really guys? He was decent, not great, but not bad either. He did more than Icardi does on a bad day (since everyones comparing).
10 - Legend. One of the absolute best players in the history of the game (think Meazza, Matthäus)
9 - Icon. One of the best players in club history, and one of the best players in the world
8 - Great. A player of high quality that adds a lot to the team, one of the best in the league
7 - Good. A valuble asset to the team, one of the 10-15 best in his position in the league
6 - Above average. Useful player, but will never be a key player for a team
5 - Average. Completely average player. Does his job, but doesn't stand out
4 - Below average. Not a disaster, but would be better if we didn't sign him in the first place
3 - Anonymous. Will never be remembered due to the fact nobody expected anything from him
2 - Useless. Adds nothing of value, detrimental to the team when on the pitch
1 - Infamous. Awful signing, will go down in history as one of the shittiest Inter players ever

It's actually getting very frustrating to see this kind of comments.
He was once more below par.
Please name me how many times he helped the go forward. How many times he caused us to lose possession. How many bad decisions he had on the ball.
I can just recall a moment where he could have easily scored in the area when the ball was coming from high but he couldn't anticipate the height, speed or position and he let it bounce only to move wide and end up screwing a scoring chance. It was just a tap away from going in.
Another moment was when he tried to dribble past a player only to fall on his face once again.
I lost count of how many times he chested the ball "down", like 1 meter away, only to chase it after and lose it or chest it in an attempt to pass the ball first touch which we'd lose it.
This is why I call his involvement mostly negative. People seem to have some kind of fetish and everytime they see him near a ball they think it's a good sign.
The best thing he did all night was not getting directly involved in the second goal as he helped clear the lane with his albeit awkward run (in terms of the right lane to fill). He's always been better when he doesn't really touch the ball but he usually is smart enough to see his teammates' runs. Last night didn't have that either.

The "bashing" only happens because they play the same all the time.
If you can be deluded by a couple of great solo attempts in a sea of mistakes I cannot be of any assistance. I'm still the guy who's gonna be looking at the forest in these situations despite everyone focusing on a tree.
He's a 'volume' player. Give him many chances and at some point he'll convert some. But expecting Brescia like goals from him week in week out is naive. Or thinking that he helps the team somehow by misplacing the ball or himself during an attack.
A striker firstly has to know how to move. Ask any midfield player what he wants from the forward and all of them will say "know where to go and how to get there". No one with quality will say 'be near to help me with the build up". I don't even know where this idea came from in the first place. It's not like strikers never touch the ball in the middle of the park or anything.

With the amount of walking he does, he should be an absolute beast when the game needs speed.
I don't think he was particularly good last night. I think he did a couple of good link up and last man plays but overall was net useless rather than positive.
His drop from an effective goal scorer in one game into a clueless fucker wandering on the pitch next game is buffling.
He seriously looked yesterday, and not for the first time tbh, like he popped some ultra nerve calming pill before game and didn't care at all where he is to begin with.
You shouldn't expect anything from him vs. a bigger opponent like BVB.
He might help us out again vs. Verona.
Bwahahahaha!!! What man would voluntarily impregnate a woman while being sober?! Our fathers were all drunk.

Then we should consider not starting him in games against real opposition?
65M for a dude that will be pretty much useless against any defense that is not from a Serie B level team?
This. He wasn't particularly good. Few good plays but that's it. It's easy to bash him because he is mostly useless. Of course I love the goals he scores but when he doesn't score, he's just a static useless piece of meat. No anticipation, no use of his body (he's a BIG BODY), no speed, clumsiness. The list isn't nice. Few good linkups isn't saving that list if he doesn't score.
Another really shit game. Needs to fix up.

I appreciated how much effort he put to getting involved in the build-up play before Vecino scored. Drifted out wide, created opportunities.
But man, what an awful couple of misses. I understand why he missed the free tap-in, but he gets paid to anticipate those chances.

I thought he had a good game. If he had scored, it would be great. He linked up well, he didnt lose many balls, he had some nic passes and was always in good position.
What i was most happy about is that he FINALLY used his body strength. He kept 2 opposition players away from the ball with pure strenght. We need this agaisnt stronger teams sooner. But he is getting into shape.

Today he had plenty of moments where he used his physique the right way and everyone should have seen it. If we take aside his finishing today, he played well. His link up play was good.
As a striker, he should have scored those chances. Overall it's 5/10 today.
I will not shit on him. He has so many haters here anyway.
Those comments make sense if they were directed to Lautaro,a talented young striker. But we are talking about a 75m striker in his prime,he should be much better than what he really is tbh.
