Yeah but we aren’t actually selling Perisic or N9 so they will be back here next summer and there is a chance they will be less marketable then they were this summer. They are also players on the other side of 30.
We’ll see how it works out I guess. Hopefully they both have good seasons and we can move them next sunmer.

Because we couldn't use any extra cash that we saved bar the money we got from selling the players. Hence this race to sell our youngsters to get those capital gains. But according to UEFA rules, the extra money you received but did not spend during this season, can still be used in the following seasons. In fact, it's 3 or 4 next years if I remember correctly.
That's why I've always kept rambling on on this forum for past 2 or 3 years whenever I was on, that we must have lots of money the first year our FFP deal is off. So far this mercato proves it, since according to reports we've spent around 200mln so far and it might not be the end. How is that possible? My theory would explain it perfectly.
So first... whether we can still affort SMS, depends on how much money we've stashed from marketting, prize money, merchendise etc over past 3-4 years, and no.
I'm sure we're good.

I know your theory. I believe a few month ago we argue about it. I understand your argument, but if we saved money and we rolled them further until we are not under SA/FFP, that means in the last few years our balance sheets were positive. I don't know the numbers and I would like to see them.
