Sanchez isn’t useless either.
He needs more game time and a bit more self belief. He really helped us in May/ June last year! He’s shown what he can do and I’m sure with proper management he can get back to that form again.

Apart from Barella he is the only outfield player today that understands he plays for Inter.

Always nice to see Sanchez score, he works so hard and sometimes his efforts go a miss due to nothing really happening, but the kid has heart. Forza

Well, that's nice.
Still with the unnecessary dribbling in circles when a pass to the nearest open player would suffice. Not to mention it would help avoid unnecessary injuries.

Sanchez has started playing well just when he was set as AM. Great impact on the match in that role!
Today, Alexis Sánchez scored his sixth Nerazzurri goal in the league, breaking the deadlock for the first time as an Inter player in Serie A in the process. Previously, he hadn’t opened the scoring in a match in the Italian top flight since February 2011 (vs. Sampdoria)
The spark plug, got Inter going, with just a few misfires.
Yeah and fucked up their 2-3 goal so horribly. Should be experienced vet, should never do that if not certain he's gonna make the dribble clean.
Inexcusable mistake imo, he needs to stop overdribble when he has like 10 players available for a pass.

The only player that actually sees Hakimi runs and gives him those through passes. Awful mistake in the end tho.
NON MOLLARE MAI
Great pass for Hakimi in our third goal! He is the only player in our team that can create such creative situations (with Eriksen, that does not play anyway).
You can argue that his finishing isn't clinical. You can argue that he holds his ball for too long. You can also argue his pass isn't as "visionary" as Sensi/Eriksen's. But Alexis runs like his whole family's lives depend on it. When he lost the ball, he would always track back to make up for it. For that, he should always be played whenever he's fit.
Grande El Nino!

Agree.
But he really needs to stop doing that "I turn and dribble towards in the middle of the pitch oops I lost the ball".
One of his better performances as a starter, as usually he only really impresses me in his sub cameos.
Desperately needs to score more though. When Lukaku/Lautaro have their dry spells this year we're in the shit if this guy can't chip in with 6-7 goals.

As this was discussed previously...
Do people honestly not see how Lukaku is at fault in this run? Doesn't even understand that Sanchez will gain possession until he touches the ball as he hesitates to make his run till then and then just runs alongside him when it's 2 vs 1 defender. There was no fault of Sanchez here, he was left with few options due to that run. Since it made no sense to overlap, Lukaku should have made a run further out to his right to leave the defender in no man's land but instead he run alongside Sanchez, which allowed the defender to be in contention of both the ball and the attackers.

At the end of the day if Lukaku chips the goal keeper instead of side footing it then it’s probably a goal. I don’t see anything wrong with the build up and I’m often critical of Lukaku there. The problem is his inability to just lift a ball over an on rushing keeper. If he can add that to his game he will score a lot more, we would probably even have an EL title.
