I hope he sucks, purely so I can say, "he needs time to settle in."

Best guess, at least, from the info we've seen publicly.

Italian tax period, as far as I can tell, is 1st of July to 30th of June

If this is the case, it's even more brilliant deal.

That gross salary equals less than 5m€ "normal" net salary.
i have written a message to this site, asking for explanations. i basically repeated .h. 's message in italian lol.

they answered that by signing the new contract, he will stay in italy for at least a second year, and (because he hadn't lived in italy for at least 24 months) that's enough to be eligible for the tax relief of the Growth Decree.

in other words, you don't need to commit to staying in italy for at least two years from the very beginning, you just have to stay at least 2 years, even if at the beginning you couldn't guarantee that you would stay for at least that period.
"As usual in Italy some decisions are made without sense and logic. The dark side of the football that we tried to clean up returns to light".

My username has nothing to do with the player of liverpool fc, it is a reference to an Italian novel.

I won't be surprised if its true. H & I were discussing this earlier, that there may be such a loophole. Either way, a great deal by Inter.

It's a great deal with Growth Decree applied. He costs less than 5m "normal" (free agent) player annually. United paid the "signing on" fee.

Allrgedly got a 9m severance from United. So they in effect save like 43m euros. I assume the severance is pretax so sanxhez basically takes home the same amount of money but over 3 years not 2.

Nothing confirmed about an injury yet. Hopefully he isn't the only attacking player we buy this summer, because I just can't take another season of him only playing half of the season.

He’ll be back just after the restart of the season I think.

Rest and recover Alexis!!! Gutted he won’t be in our remaining 2 games as he is a total weapon.

It seems his season is over. Oh well, we should survive 2 games without him. But he was such an asset to have.

    Have hope.

A hamstring TEAR takes 4 weeks to recover for a 25 year old full of B-Rad level testosterone. so he'll need 6... BUT, you dont put white bandage on a hamstring and go back out and play. No, no, no. So maybe its a niggle. Or a scratch. Or a pinch. Or a tweek. In that case, he'll definitely make the final. Definitely.

He didn't run that much after he came back in.

It's going to be hard to survive with only LuLa. Lautaro can't play 90mins, he's just too tired after an hour or something. Maybe use Eriksen as SS/AM and Lukaku as lonely striker? We can put Sensi in to the midfield also if we need some ball handling there.

I was also thinking playing sensi higher up on the pitch but we have to see what condition he's in

    This sucks.

And this is why we need someone like Dzeko for the 3rd/4th striker. We suffered for half a season, and folks here still don't get it. For our formation, we need a ready striker for that role, even if that striker earns 5m or costs 20m.

Starting Eriksen behind Lukaku could be the way to go if Sanchez didnt recover in time. Would put in a fresh Lautaro in the second half when we need him.

    380?

    Sensi Eriksen
    Young Gagliardini Brozovic Barella D’Ambrosio
    Bastoni de Vrij Godin
    Handanovic

Jokes aside, if Sanchez is done for the season, and Conte is unwilling to use Esposito, then I’m not against Moses as first backup forward. Lukaku will have to continue suffering. We really need to manage his fitness carefully.

We were effectively down to 10 men at that point. He was on yes but he was a passenger just there to keep the numbers up, hang back and get in the way.

What baffles me is I’m sure we hadn’t used all 5 subs so we coulda stuck on another midfielder or defender and did the same thing.
