He's signed. He has personally signed a contract to 2007, so it's not a short-term contract.
Personally I was against this, but Veron will add a lot to this squad.

Inter.it mentioned in the other transfer topic regarding Pandev and Semioli, that the Veron transfer is a loan.
A two-year loan that is. Best possible option for us.
I guess we pay "only" his wage.I wonder if there is some pay cut.

nevermind
it's just come up on english website =D
I guess this means no Pizarro though?

according to the bbc

we signed veron properly, not a loan??
maybe it's just poor news =D lol
but like, 3 years on loan is wierd though? I would have been surprised if Chelsea let him loan out again because, dayum, 3 years and then what, let him leave for free? write off 15 mil?
i dont think so, not even chelsea
browha of course it's not a loan it's a 2 year deal - Veron is an Inter player now.
inter.it reports everything, ok? screw BBC.
BBC says it isnt a loan
Inter says it IS a loan....
bottomline that he'll wear the black n blue for the next two years ...![]()

Here Primo:
Besides the agreement with Chelsea for the renewal of the two-year loan of Juan Sebastian Veron, FC Internazionale Milano have finalised two other transfer market operations. The co-ownership of Goran Pandev (pictured) between Inter and Lazio has been renewed until 30 June 2006, while Chievo have agreed a deal to buy Franco Semioli outright.
I stand correct =D
So, yeah, we loan him or what? lol
It's confusing, let's wait for Chelsea official comment.
I think it's loan.

The Italian version of Inter.it says it's a permanent move. No loan.

Veròn loaned again
Friday, Jun 24, 2005
Juan Sebastián Veròn has signed on loan to Internazionale for a further two seasons.
The Chelsea midfielder’s deal restarts on July 1st subject to the completion of final paperwork. Veròn has spent one year at Inter already during which time they won the Copa Italia, the Italian Cup, coming on as a substitute for three minutes in the second leg. In his year at Chelsea he started 11 games, was a substitute three times and scored one goal.

So we have signed Veron on a 2 year loan contract. Weird. Atleast the club didn't have to buy him outright. More money to other important matters (like wrapping up the Real Madrid deals) I didn't really want us to have him for anything more then a year. Now that it's 2 I'm not so confidant about us getting Pizarro.
