Inter were not his first choice. The only reason he came here is because the move to Real Madrid did not eventuate and no club, with the exception of Inter was prepared to pay for a player in the last six months of his contract.
Who cares about first choices? He still made a step up in his career only for the new coach to become a huge obstacle in his settling in.

Lukaku wanted to go to Real Madrid too, he says it in a video when he played for Manchester United. Eriksen may have or may want to move to Real Madrid, I am sure there are 10000s of players who want to play for Real Barca Man U/C etc etc doesn't mean they will or the clubs interested of the finances are right, its all speculation.
I am still an Eriksen backer, as unpopular as that is. If he travels tonight and doesn't play then he's discussin personal terms if he travels and plays I will be very happy.

So, in his first months at Inter Eriksen only had more minutes than two players who had long-term injuries and Borja Valero, a player who was last in Conte's pecking order for the longer part of the season. In this season Eriksen had more minutes than the same players with the long-term injuries and Nainggolan, who's basically out of the project.
We d only have vidal Barella and sensi in midfield of our current players, if we d send all the mids packing who dd not perform as long as eriksen has so far.
Brozo got two years till he finally performed, gags still sucks till this day, radja lol, vecino played like 5 good games in his time here (scored some important goals though), how the fuck is it eriksen that gets the boot first?
Unless the coach explicitly does not want him here in which case again Marotta should have never brought him here. I mean if we sell him in jan will have paid his salary and thats all we ve gotten from him.....
We re sure not gonna make a profit on him after we made it blatantly clear that he s not wanted and all teams are cash strapped atm.
We can blame eriksen all we want but whats most likely gonna happen is eriksen moves on to another top team(probably even a higher rated team than us) where he ll probably be a starter or in worst case a rotational player and he ll earn as much as he does here if not more. So really eriksen got nothing to lose here other than wasting a year with conte.
Inter is gonna lose one of it s highest caliber players (at least if you go by popularity) at a loss and we ll most likely replace him with a brain dead runner or another technical player who our coach wont play.
I really dont see how people are okay with that, i m not saying start eriksen every game but atleast dont force him out this obviously that we really can only loose from here on out.

Every sane person knows that Conte is problem here,not Eriksen.
Good to see the raw data here. I think it would also be fair to say that the starts/minutes are also in line with how well these players have played, with the sole exception of Gagliardini who has got more minutes than he deserves. My guess is that is because of the lack of a quality DM, thats why Gags gets into the team more. If we had a quality DM, I suspect Gags' playing time will reduce drastically, while Eriksen's playing time may actually increase (provided Conte hasn't given up on him already).
Nope,Gags always plays. This year we have Vidal,Naingollan instead Borja and Gags is still first choice for Conte.So he will play even if we get Kante or someone similiar. He is Conte's fetish.
Conte is the 'manager', he should be able to take a step aside from his personal issues with players/management,....
The treatment of Eriksen will no doubt be, one of the many negative influences being carried out on the team.
Conte himself is not doing a favour cause many players with great technical attributes wont come when he calls them they would think twice after seeing what he is doing with eriksen
