Good. I was tired of the City rumours for Skriniar.

    - - - Updated - - -

It seems Il Mattino quote Mundo Deportivo for Koulibaly while MD quote English media. English media quote both Il Mattino and MD.

    I love sports journalism.

Damn. I like what I've seen from Arthur. Smart player. Hope he flopped hard though, because if someone go to Juventus I instantly dislike him.

Can we get FCBarca's thoughts on this Arthur transfer? They've seem to have quieted down a bit since Lautaro has looked set to stay this season.

After today's news that Inter are close to signing Hakimi from Real Madrid, the Nerazzurri will now turn their attention on strengthening the LWB position.
The players that Inter are taking into consideration are:
Gosens (Prefers the Bundesliga if he is sold)
Benjamin Mendy (Man City consider him an important player for their team)
     Alaba (Contract expiring in 2021)
Emerson Palmieri (There is interest from Juve)
Fares (Interest from Torino and Fiorentina)
    [Pedulla]
Sounds like the usual fabricated story. Is Alaba even in the market?

Hakimi, Gosens, Perisic and Young in both flanks, i think it's fair upgrade for next season, im still think that perisic should fit in conte's system.

Like I said on defenders thread, Alaba isn't a realistic target. There's a chance he could stay at Bayern even if he doesn't sign an extension

I liked Mendy at Monaco but he has struggled a lot with injuries and bad form at City. I would only consider him if he's available on loan with option to buy. Mendy being important for City is bs. Even when he's fit, they rotate him a lot with the Ukrainian guy and they're in the market for a lb..

I wasn't very fond of getting Emerson but now we're getting Hakimi I would be in favor of a move for him if the price is right. I don't think it would be wise to have two attacking minded wingbacks and I would prefer a more balanced player like Emerson.

Pedulla is pushing the agenda of Fares because we had an agreement with SPAL last season prior to his ACL injury. I would rather keep Biraghi.

I like Gosens but I am wary of Atalanta players and the price is too high (30+m).

I am just glad we are getting a gifted young player like Hakimi for a position where we desperately needed an upgrade. I like the kind of big transfers Inter have done in the last 12 months.... Barella, Sensi, Lukaku, Eriksen, and now Hakimi. The odd Lazaro apart, we are investing our money wisely.

    Shit is getting real!

Gosens to Inter, Esposito to Atalanta?
    By Football Italia staff

Inter are reportedly targeting Atalanta wingback Robin Gosens for the left flank but may have to give up Sebastiano Esposito.

After their €45m deal for Real Madrid right-back Achraf Hakimi, Tuttosport claims Inter are in no mood to slow down and have prioritised Gosens for the opposite side.

Like Hakimi, the German has a knack for scoring goals with nine to his name so far this season.

The newspaper writes Atalanta will only sell for €25-30m but also that they have a strong rapport with their fellow Nerazzurri.

The Dea would preferably like Inter to include Esposito - a known target of theirs - in the deal, reducing the fee involved.

However, Tuttosport warns the Beneamata are unwilling to let the teenage hitman leave on a permanent basis.

I like Gosens, especially if we're stuck with the 3-5-2, but would be more willing to hand them Pinamonti than Esposito.

If we could make some deal like Pinamonti (loan + obligation style) + Gagliardini for him it'd be swell. I feel like Gagliardini would accept a return to Atalanta since it's probably going to be a CL team again, definitely in Europe at least. And Pinamonti would be serviceable for them.

Pinamonti may be bought back for 21m from Genoa (18m is their fee and they aren't willing to keep him apparently) so maybe the 15m of Gagliardini and a 5m loan fee for Pinamonti + 15m future fee could do it while, making Gosens a 30m transfer.

If we cannot pull an exchange deal I think we'll be looking for some cheap alternative or a loan + option deal that we may be stuck with for the long run when we could have better targets next summer.

    love this photo, so badass:

But I'm agree with brehme that trading for Esposito would be a mistake. Loaning Esposito and defining a buy-back clause would be ok, but otherwise it could end up like with Zaniolo.
I like Gosens, I think it's a nice option, but also risky. He relies on his stamina and athleticism like most of Atalanta players and these assets can be creditet to Gasperini and his training regime. He scores a lot of goals, because that's how Atalanta plays. Their strategy is to have tall wingbacks which close the long crosses, we play in different way. He should be good option for Inter, but I have concerns that he would be worse player for Inter than for Atalanta.

I would take him if Gagliardini/Pinamonti or someone else is involved, but 35 mln of cash could be spend for Kostic, Alonso or maybe even Theo.
