Bad luck today. Pitch was horrible, Sanchez got his okeyish penalty saved, unlucky hand balls and then Sampdoria got their second goal. Lukaku was definately missed because Sanchez cannot play as striker. He is more trequartista type of player. Inter needs to have 3 striker who can score in any game.
Skriniar, Sanchez, Lautaro, Perisic, Bastoni, should have all scored today. But that doesn't matter.
The thing to take away from this match is that you won't come back from 2-0 down every time. It's ludicrous to think about a title when you keep conceding 2 goals a match. And now the team has the best choice defensive trio starting, who are all individually playing quite well. The fuckup is Conte's tactics. You play with 5 defenders and 3 hardworking midfielders, and still keep conceding.
Better to take this loss and move on. It is Jan, but don't forget it's still the first half of the season. There will be plenty of time to recover. But there will also be plenty of time for our annual slump to keep going on.
