I think he did ok. Perhaps not good enough to threaten Brozovic's role, but it was decent. Looked a bit more involved than previous starts, though there were still lapses in concentration. If we cannot sell him, he could be a viable rotation option this season if he builds on this performance.
Table updated: http://forzainterforums.com/showthre...st-Men-2020-21
Fiorentina 1-2 Inter
- Vidal pen (kc: Sanchez, Eriksen)
- Lukaku (a: Barella)
- For consistency, assists awarded as per Livescore
- kc = Key contributions
- GC% = Percentage of Inter goals the player has contributed towards
Perisic should've had a tonne of assists today, if weren't for a lack of good positioning & finishing.
I think Eriksen did well, considering lack of playing time and new position. It's only one game but for me he might be better than Brozo on this spot. He moves the ball much faster which is crucial for our counter attacks. He is also better under pressure. His confidence is pretty low now due to Conte's treatment, so his mistakes are understandable at this point.
Better late than never? Yea, I'm not excited over this.
Would anyone be kind enough to give me a quick summary of it went today? Was at work and only caught the winner since I'd clocked out by then.
Inter Banter Era; 2011-2018
Mudingayi, Schelotto, Rocchi
Gone but not forgotten
Let's move on guys, Inter won. Let me say from one who really has been nasty about Kolarov, Perisic and Young. That trio did well today good for them. FORZA INTER!
Just watched the highlights.
2 things:
- that was an awful miss by Lautaro, inexcusable.
- it was an awful penalty decision by the referee when Skriniar cleanly got the ball, if there wansn't VAR that would have been a really shitty decision.
We played a good game, specialy considering that we made turn over for this game. The problem is still the same. We waste too many chances, just like against Roma. And we always concede after leading. The only diffrence is that we finally played a good first half. Normaly were always losing the first half.
Nel bene e nel male, forza Internazionale!!
#IcardiOut
Let's see.
Sensi purported to start, but scratched due to injury.
Starters, Young, Perisic and Kolarov caused concern from the off
Eriksen did well at times, pass got us a penalty, . Vidal scored.
Typical Inter, get the lead and give away possession a lot.
Easy misses by Sanchez and Lautaro to seal it.
2ND HALF
Missed chances especially by Lautaro, they roar back, get a corner and of course score.
Dicking around, they sub first and are making an impact.
Conte makes timely subs so Lukaku and Hakimi are on. Tide begins to turn, but it doesn't.
ET
Some missed chances again, but nothing save we get some yellows. END FIRST ET
Missed chances, dominant play for the most part. Penalty kicks looming, then quick passing by Barella and Lukaku muscles in the winner.
