Some personal considerations about this derby:
First, no team will be out of scudetto race whatever the result, but Inter will be fairy advantaged with a 4 points gap, if we manage to win.
Second, Bbilan has a mid-week match against Deki's Red Star in Belgrade, add the past Spezia game and during second half we should prevail.
Third, Kolarov isn't a starter and Padelli neither,so this will prevent Ibra to score again.

One thing about Ibra is that he isn't a conventional striker. Its very hard to plan against him coz he can score out of nothing. Even at almost 40. Grudging respect.
So we must assume we will need to score more than 1 goal to win this. That must be our approach. However that does not mean we have to take the game to them. Milan look very vulnerable when they keep possession and try to make the game. So a similar strategy to what we had against Lazio of absorbing pressure peppered with counter attacks may work.
I think that Milan will sit deep and play on counter-attack as usual. I guess, Leao will start for them, as he has pace and technique and could cause us a big headache if he gets our defense exposed.
For me is crucial who will score first. If we manage to do it, Milan will have to step up and push us. This will open a lot of space to exploit.
Honestly thats the only way they get something from this game given that they were pretty solid defensively at just sitting back in our last coppa italia match. Plus i dont think they will have energy to do anything else cus of their midweek fixture.
Have to get 3pts. Take all their confidence before these upcoming clashes at the same time for us, ride with our derby morale boosting injection and gather as much pts we can, we could have a considerable pts difference.

^ Well they're presumably not going to play many starters vs Red Star so I doubt fatigue will be a significant issue for them.
The common consensus among Milan fans is that they suffer against teams who do a high-intensity high press, because they're not particularly great at playing it out from deep. That is apparently a common denominator for their losses against Spezia, Atalanta and Lille. Having only watched the Atalanta match, I can't really confirm whether this is a trend or not. Either way, I don't know if this supposed kryptonite is something worth pursuing. We do vaguely press opponents high, but I wouldn't say it's something we're really intense or devoted to.
What is true is that we defend much deeper than we did in the early part of the season where we were conceding a ludicrous 2 goals per game on average. I would expect this to continue and for us to keep our recently excellent defensive performances - no small part from the work of the midfield. We've only conceded 5 goals in our last 9 games.
As long as we don't give someone like Leao acres of space, like he had in the first derby to wreck D'Ambrosio, I'm confident in our defense. Need to make sure Brozovic stays close to Calhanoglu too though.
I want the exact same XI that played against Lazio to start this match. No weird tactical changes, no "safety-first" bullshit with Gagliardini instead of Eriksen or whatever, just play the same guys who did so well.

Bad news IMO, team tends to fuck up on fixtures that are not in the evening.
Just look at results vs Lazio (away), Parma, Atalanta, Sampdoria and Udinese. Heck, even the defeat against milan back in October started at 18:00 CET.

The players cannot have a high determination all the time, they should have a lover determination against weaker clubs an a higher determination against stronger clubs ,against clubs like YouWeNotUs high determination with a different tactics.
