I'd probably throw D'Ambrosio in at LCB. His biggest vulnerability is pace, but otherwise he would be good enough to hold the fort down. Darmian would also be a reasonable alternative. Unfortunately I fully expect to see Kolarov get the start.
Brozovic is simple. You shift Eriksen to the center of the pitch and play Vidal (if fit) next to him. If Vidal isn't fit you know Gagliardini will start.

In reality we have no one to replace Bastoni with. Kolarov can't defend. Skriniar has been poor whenever he has played on the left and D'Ambrosio has struggled a lot as a RCB this season, let alone on the left where he doesn't feel comfortable. I also don't think Darmian can play as a LCB. I had seen him as a LB in a back 4 at Parma and the guy was a defensive liability. He would probably be even worse as a LCB.
The most logical thing to do would be dropping back 3 and switching to a back 4. But we all know it's not gonna happen with Conte so this is what i would like to see against Sassuolo:

Skriniar - De Vrij - Kolarov
Hakimi - Barella - Eriksen - Vidal/Sensi - Perisic
Lukaku - Lautaro
If Vidal is fit, he should start in midfield. Else Conte needs to take the risk and start Sensi. Starting Kolarov means you're going to concede. That's a given. So starting Gagliardini wouldn't offer you anything. He can't contribute in attack and he doesn't even offer defensive security.

Honestly not that worried about Kolarov. Despite his utterly disastrous start, he was fine n his last couple of games.
The sample size is so small it's barely worth commenting on but I thought he was solid in the Coppa. He put in a good 120 minutes against Fiorentina and while he fucked up on Ibra's goal, by and large he was OK across the 90 mins against Milan and had another decent half hour against juve too. And if it's true that Berardi is out, then even better.
That said, those most recent matches took place over a month ago where he's been injured so who even knows at this point. The LAST thing I want to see is some nonsense like de Vrij as a wide CB tho. That shit has been disastrous every time.
