Gagliardini is automatically a sub out player even before the match starts, in fact as a coach I will always sub out gags even in training matches. Gagliardini is one of the few players in football that can justify substitution within the first 35mins of a football match excluding injury or red card as a reason.

I don't have an issue with starting Gags over Sensi. I would prefer Sensi to come for the last 30 minutes when the other team is tired, and prove his form. If Brozo was available (ie Eriksen was suspended), then maybe starting Sensi over Gags would have made sense. But a midfield of Sensi, Eriksen & Barella looks a bit too physically limited, specially with Sensi looking so scared to commit tackles these days.

That said, I wish Vidal was fit enough to start. Vidal-Eriksen-Barella in theory would be a quality midfield if they play anywhere close to their capability.

Gagliardini is the logical choice when we are missing Brozovic. Sensi is out of form after being injured for so long, and Vidal has made many mistakes whenever he wa given a chance.

I can feel it, he will deliver an assist minimum tonight, maybe score a goal.
