I'd say. Stupid teenage girls at work drive me nuts with their OC talk. Anyway I watched the OC for the first season than I kinda got bored of it and stopped watching it. Seth is the man though.

The OC was okay for the first season, but then it started to bore me. My interest peaked when Samaire Armstrong (Anna Stern) started guest appearing in S1 and it died out when she left the show. I've been a fan of hers for sometime now so she really kept me watching the show. However, i've all but lost track of The OC now.

Don Han to the rescue.

Honestly, I have never followed another TV teen series other than The O.C. so I do not know what are the standards of these kind of series. But The O.C. for me is a great show filled with great characters. What's more, there's a lot of 'guilty pleasure' in watching it. If you just click these links you'll know what I'm talking about.

But of course, I'm not that pervert of a guy who'll watch a show just because of its babes. The main reason I watch the O.C. is none other than Seth Cohen. I've never seen a fictional character that is geekier, nerdier, wittier & funnier than him. His character is truly one of a kind.

For Katiey:

Best moment - When Seth ordered his comic book squad to spy on Zach & Summer.
Best music - Finley Quaye's Dice played on the episode The Countdown.
Favorite character - Gotta be Seth.

I may start watching the show just to see those girls. are they main characters? they should be, with looks like that the camera should be always on them.

I can understand if you hate people who try to imitate The O.C.'s character. But it doesn't mean that you have to hate the show for that, even if the show is responsible for their behaviour. It was not the show's choice for those people to mimick the characters!

Hey, even the protagonist of you watching The O.C. is because of the hot babes, just go follow the series from the beginning. Maybe, hopefully, you'll see the reason why me & Katiey like this show a lot and you'll start to like it too. I mean, I'm sure you don't know what are the characters like and you can't hate something you don't know, can you?

Mischa Barton & Rachel Bilson are the main teen girls character. But there are adults involved in this show too so I don't know if I can say that they are the main characters. Basically, everybody gets their own fair share of time. If it helps, there are hot guest stars too. As Tim mentioned, one is Samaire Armstrong. She's no hot girl but I hardly see a more adorable girl than her.

actually I like the bit when Zach has just joined comic book club & Seth is like 'I love that guy!' then Zach goes up to Summer & she's all over him, followed by Ryan - 'You're not the only one'.. Seths face then bless him

& obviously all the Chrismukkah moments too

It's such an addictive show, and it's probably the first one i've found where all the music relates to the moments perfectly
