Hmmm, this topics should be able to be seen all season long, I suggest we make it a sticky.. or perhaps, the first post should be copied to the first post of 'Season 05 - 06 thread'......

It's good we have a relatively weaker opponent in the first week....,
Hopefully we won't draw the games

    Same here.

Look at the dates in rounds 8, 9 & 10. Add NT match, Serie A week 7 & 11 and 2 CL group matches there and we have a busy schedule against us.

    12/10 National team matches
    16/10 Home vs Livorno
18-19/10 CL: Group stage, matchday 3
    23/10 Away vs. Udinese
    26/10 Home vs. Roma
    30/10 Away vs. Sampdoria
    01-02/11 CL: Group stage, matchday
    6/11 Home vs. Lazio

"Quite" a tough schedule we got there...
Peppino Prisco: "La gioia più grande? Scontata. Il Milan in B. E per ben due volte: una... a pagamento e una... gratis. Sono dell 'idea che una retrocessione cancelli almeno cinque scudetti conquistati e che la vittoria di una Mitropa Cup elimini i residui"

But I think this is a good calendar. We shouldn't take these things that big.
IF YOU WANT THE SCUDETTO THEN BE READY FOR EVERYTHING.
I don't consider this calendar to be thougher than last season's calendar.
It could have been much harder.
We MUST get 15 points in the first 5 matches in order to have a good moral when facing juve in the 6th week.
The season has started. Supercup, CL and the 1st week of Serie A.
SO BUCKLE UP, remember all of these moments . We would recal them as some great days. The starting days of a season that Inter won the Supercup, the CL and the Scudetto. Save these days in your memory. Save them all.

    I can't wait anymore.

it's good as it is .

the most important thing is to start the season by winning .. not by drawing 18 times as last season...

    Just can't wait.... :intersca:

p.s. Is Francesco Guidolin still the coach of Palermo? If so the 2nd round vs them will be tough, Guidolin is a master, a real tactician IMO.
