Well Porto is just not the same since as before and I do think we can do very well against them but with an empty stadium, you never know.

Co Adriaanse has made their team way stronger. Yeah they might have lost Maniche, Seitaridis and Costinha...but alteast two of them were pretty sh1t for them last season anyway...and now with the likes of Lucho, Lisandro and more experienced Diego...we'll have to watch out for them.

Portosim, I'll be writing an analysis of Porto for another site. As a lot of things have changed since last year, could you tell me briefly of key players, new players, what tactics you use and so forth?

    Dude it's still porto lmao.

Does Adriano have to send you home packing again?

Even if they did improve a little, so did we

I could tell you this too, Jimmy.

    Key players:
    Ricardo Costa: New Carvalho.
Lucho Gonzalez: Taking over from Maniche
Diego: Trying to fit into Deco's boots.
Postiga, Lisandro and Almeida: Goals were their problem last season, they need more this time and these three young players have to take over from Benni.
Anderson: Will join them in January, supposed new Ronaldinho.

    New players:
Alan (Marítimo), Anderson (Grêmio), Bruno Alves (AEK Athens), Fatih Sonkaya (Besiktas), Helton (U. Leiria), Jorginho (V. Setúbal), Lisandro López (R. Avellaneda), Lucho González (River Plate), Paulo Assunção (AEK Athens), Paulo Ribeiro, Sandro (V. Setúbal), Sokota (Benfica)

    Tactics:
From what I know of Co in his Alkmaar days, you'll see a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Do they still have that Portuguese-Angolan defender? He is very good, and was always the sub of Carvalho.

I think he is the one that got hurt saving JZ's amazing run, I just can't pin his name.

Lucho Gonzales is in Porto!? Together with Javier Mascherano, I've heard nothing but rave reviews about them. Catanha, can you enlighten me more about Lucho? Is he a ball-winner, just like Mascherano? Who do you think is better? How do Lucho, or for that matter, Mascherano, fare compared to our Cambiasso?

    Thanx.
