    Compare and contrast

Here are the Serie A games played so far by the so-called big three and the next two games.

    INTER:
    Inter-Treviso
    Palermo-Inter
    Inter-Lecce
    Chievo-Inter
    Inter-Fiorentina
    Juve-Inter
    Inter-Livorno
    Udinese-Inter
    Inter-Roma
    and next two:
    Samp - Inter
    Lazio - Inter

    MILAN:
    Ascoli-Milan
    Milan-Siena
    Samp-Milan
    Milan-Lazio
    Treviso-Milan
    Milan-Reggina
    Cagliari-Milan
    Milan-Palermo
    Empoli-Milan
    and the next two
    Milan-Juve
    Milan-Udinese

    JUVE:
    Juve-Chievo
    Empoli-Juve
    Juve-Ascoli
    Udinese-Juve
    Parma-Juve
    Juve-Inter
    Juve-Messina
    Lecce-Juve
    Juve-Samp
    and the next two:
    Milan-Juve
    Juve-Livorno

Only a blind man can not notice that Inter out of the three has the most difficult schedule in the first 11 games by a proverbial country mile. Inter had or has to play no fewer then 6 derbies in those out of which 5 are away from home. Meanwhile, Juve has only 4, 2 of which are at home and one of the away derbies was against Udinese which, as far as I am concerned since the Iaquinta case are officially Juventus B. Milan got it even easier: he has 4 derbies, 3 of which are at home and the one away they have lost already.

So before anyone starts quitting, whining about having fallen behind or admiring some so-called records, look at who is it that played against whom and where. I think it does have a tad bit to do with the results so far.

Well, I agree with you, but I think we will choke once again. I really hope I'm wrong, but our squad is not vrey competent in matches Vs Milan or Juve

Good point, however I just don't see Juventus dropping alot of points in away or "home" games this season, especially if Vieira is healthy. If Milan beat them this weekend, or at least get a draw out of it, than I might change my mind but as of right it does not look good. We have also shown an inability to beat semi-big teams (Palermo, Roma) that hardly boosts confidence.

Well we did beat Fiorentina comfortably at home and Udinese which is never easy, the problem with this squad is consistency. You never know which Inter is going to show up.
