Nadal vs Djokovic should be a great final as well.

1-1 so far in the final but 3rd set looks it's going purely Nadal's way. 3-0 thus far and excellent point won here for the 30-0.

Finally we have a competitive final in Roland Garros, as the last few years had been too one-sided.
First two sets were very close. Even in the third and fourth, I don't think Thiem played badly at all. It's just that Rafa went up another gear. And in the end, with that form and on that particular court, no one can beat him.
Thiem got much closer than he did last year. Who knows if Rafa can't be 100% fit next year, Thiem might end the streak at last.

Federer is playing awesome, shame on those two tie-breaks he lost but I hope he pulls it off in the fifth set. He's been the better player imo.

Federer beat himself tonight, shame for him as a win against Novak would have broken his Grand Slam finals losing streak.

I'm not much into tennis and don't even follow Djokovic because domestic media is oversaturated with news related to him every day, but I will say that I'm super glad that he managed to shut up the crowd, good old Serbian spite at its finest. He got under Federer's skin, it's super obvious, the amount of mistakes he made were unusual to say the least.

He may be a Milanista but nonetheless. Pic from yesterday.

People generally don't like his antics on the pitch, complaining, taking time during serves, his post match celebrations but i personally couldn't care less not to mention both Nadal and RF also have had their fair share of terrible incidents on the field as well. He is top 3 all time and he has had to raise his games multiple ties to beat both Federer and Nadal at their peak. People and crowds like him but Federer is most loved at Wimbledon so that was kinda expected.

Dimitrov in the semi finals, thoroughly deserved and i hope this is a new start for him, on form he can beat anyone. He is such a humble guy as well.

Federer was great as usual but had an injury that ruined his fifth set, respect to him for completing the match though.

I hope he's left in the past public relationships with likes of Sharapova and Nikol Scherzinger and to be more focused on the tennis now.

With all due respect to Dimitrov, he wouldnt have won if Federer wasnt injured.

I think Nadal will win the tournament or maybe even Medvedev who is playing well.

So, it's going to be Nadal against first-time GS finalist Medvedev. Both are the standout performers so far in the hard court season, completely deserved final in my opinion. In their previous meeting though, Nadal bageled him on the way to winning the Montreal masters. Hopefully, it will be more competitive this time around.

Nadal will win that easy, Dimitrov actually played very well and had more winners just made a lot of unforced errors, double faults and weak serves.

Serena is so amazing. She might not be at her best obviously, but she's a joy to watch.

Can't think of another woman in sports with such a dominant career in the last 20 years. Maybe that Isinbayeva talking to her pole vault thingy comes second.

Before her, Nadia Comaneci is probably the name that comes to mind. And surely Martina Navratilova was spectacular and ultra-dominant as well, but Serena gives a different vibe. (Stefi Graf was great, but I don't rate her as high as Navratilova).

4 grand slam losses in a row...great comeback but in the finals cant get it done for some reason, definitely mental issue.. Had she retired without those 4 loses would have been a lot better.

    Still the GOAT though
