No u eat a sandwich. Like I said, you have a hipster definition of the decade. But pretty much everyone defines the start of the new decade as 1.1.2020.

oh god, now you got Brehme involved. I'm out.
It will be called Internazionale, because we are brothers of the world.

I'm not white. I'm blue. Daba di daba dai.

But decades are decided by mathematics, neither whites nor blues.

I also saw this. Definitely a very intense movie. Beautifully shot in general as well. Probably top 3 of the year for me

One of the rare movies that makes you keep thinking about it for the day to come. Also my wife told me to never take her to a movie that tense before.

Did you like it more or less than Dunkirk?

It was very intense, that's for sure.

I think the cinematography was amazing, but the "story" felt lacking. The story part felt too short, but the movie was so dramatic as you could feel you were in their shoes and it was one of the few movies I've seen in like forever where I was actually worried about what was going to happen. It was a very good POV storytelling, but there were a few unrealistic shots I believe. It's a movie, I know, but it's supposed to portray a real life situation.

Never got to see Dunkirk - wife didn't want to see it due to same reasons mentioned above. Now I'm motivated to see it by myself.

Alot more! When with my dad to both movies and me dad was in the break of 1917 already impressed by what he saw. Dunkirk was a okayish movie with a very bad and stupid end. 1917 is amazingly filmed but as Brehme already said the story lacked something. Nevertheless a great movie and a must see if you are interested in these kind of films!

There were 2 things I kept thinking about:

    1. How in the hell do you prepare yourself when you are in a ditch sitting and waiting, knowing you have to run for a couple of hundred meters without cover through guns and artillery blazing?

    2. Why Schofield didn't reload his weapon in the movie..?

Watched 12 Monkeys tonight after a good friend of mine recommended it to me. I like movies with smart plot twists, especially Memento which is up there with my absolute favorite movies, because everything falls into place.
I have to say 12 Monkeys doesn’t make any sense... at all. Whichever way you want to spin it, the story appears to be incredibly forced and doesn’t even remotely answer the main questions which arise while watching the movie. And yes, I understand what the protagonists dreams where about. In the end his vision becomes reality and boom the film is over. Very anti climatic.
I'm very disappointed tbh, wouldn’t watch it again.
