    Toldo - Julio Cesar

Who do you think is a better goalkeeper, because uptil now, AI haven't seen the Brazilian guy do much better than Toldo last season, Toldo in my mind is way better, at least fro the time being!

It's not yet Julio's time to be top team regular. He is confident, and may throw in a great save in every 5th game, but he's not more than that anymore. Toldo is. He has the most important thing for a GK - experience. He knows opponents, how they like to strike, how they move + he has barely been unconsistent. I actually don't remember even one real big **** up by him. Maybe the one againist Juventus in 03/04, when he's couldn't catch the ball and instead pushed it into the bar and then into goal. Though that didn't change the match outcome. The one againist Lazio in Coppa could be taken two ways.

Toldo deserves another shot in the first team. Regulary!

    Toldo , all the way

Cesar is not young enough + not good enough .. look at Casillas .. much younger than Cesar + already a world-class goalkeeper

stick with Toldo .. or an excellent young goalkeeper like Casillas or Cech

Guys, nobody ever said Toldo is a bad keeper.
Infact, he is one of our best keepers ever. I didn't like the idea of benching him too, I was sceptical. But Cesar has really proven himself in the first half of the season. He deserves to be the first keeper, since Toldo is not at his best anymore...

Julio Cesar is just An Average Goalkeeper. Toldo is World Class. I chose the 1st option.
Toldo made mistakes, Julio made mistakes too. And there're a few mistakes he had done, like Brocchi Goal against Fiorentina, the 1st match against juventus, etc..

The only problem with Toldo is he does very bad at crosses. Every time he plays I pee my pants

I'll vote for Julio Cesar. I like his confidence and presence. Toldo is too shy, isn't too good at organizing his defense, and even if he is very tall, he isn't too good at the crosses.

The Brocchi goal was REALLY annoying shot, it hit the ground and bounced surprisingly high just before the goal. He should have got it, but no way it was the kind of mistake some of you guys make it sound.

I don't agree , Toldo always shouts on the defence , while Cesar is the shy one

Cesar would never hold Di Biagio's neck in a knock-out stage in CL. ( Valencia )

Toldo is an immortal and a great keeper, but I chose JC without hesitation.

He came out of nowhere, cost us nothing, and he's been solid and CONSISTENT in his debut season. If you consider how hard it is to be a keeper in the S Siro, and how much money he saved us (you try to buy a new keeper nowadays), he's been nothing less than a blessing.

People around here have a strange habit of remembering only his mistakes and never his good performances, I assume it's because if you just love Toldo, you're bound to be extremely critic and strict about his surprise-replacement.

u cant say hes a fully consistent keeper, consistency means pulling through the same sort of decent performances week-in week-out, which Cesar surely has never done. The last few games he's looked a lot more shaky than he did at first, who knows, maybe the hot/cold form is a Brazilian thing.

What we need is a keeper who's solid in every game, not spectacular one & utter crap the next.

the last player you should expect mistakes from him is a goalkeeper

and Cesar costed us atleast 10 points this season , in my opinion

Cesar is just a good average goalkeeper , and his normal place is in a club like Palermo or Lazio

Inter needs ( big clubs in general ) a world-class goalkeeper not a consistent one .. what is the use of consisnetcy , if the goalkeeper can't save -almost- every free kick ?
how many goals a player like Ronaldinho is going to score on Cesar ? I say a hatrick
Juve have got 3 goals from freekicks this season .. what are we going to do when we face Juninho or Ronaldinho .. players who score atleast a goal from every 5 freekicks ?

without mentioning how many fouls our defenders commit in dengerous spots

If you compare the toldo of 2 seasons ago yes he is better than cesar but the toldo of the previous 2 seasons has been very poor. Not convincing at all. Julio has done well.
