What kind of Inter fan are you?

In detail describe yourself and other members...what kind of inter fan are you..and what kind of football do u like to see?

Blind loving inter, realistic inter fan or nervous fan, etc...describe yours and others.

For instance, im a very realistic inter fan..if the team plays like shit the whole game and they score a goal at the end of the game..i will jus have a lil capello look on my face.
i like to admit their weaknesses and strengths.

I sadly complain about certain players right after the match, but when i look it respectively, i tend to change my midn saying that its not always that way. I like the underdog theory and like being the underdog....

Love other good displays from other foobtall teams, whether they are my enemies..i got nice goals for del piero, ronaldo and scholes...

I love tactical play and good understanding by the players of the team. Im not hyped by an easy goal, rather enjoy whatchin a properly set up goal. Eg: not a master volley from a cross, but a series of passes.

Let me kno more about u guys.

In general, I'm an Inter fan who's more pessimistic than not. However, I don't see such cynicism as a form of hindrance toward enjoyment of Inter's (mis)fortunes. Adopting a pessimistic outlook actually allows me to better deal with our losses, and subsequently, disappointments.

However, my mood relative to particular games is very much dependent on the performances of the current Inter squad. Thus, if we're on a winning streak, I tend to adopt a more optimistic view.

I'm a hodgepodge of thoughts and opinions, really. As much as I try to remain level-headed, and thus, realistic, my emotions tend to get the better of me. As such, you will often find me espousing the good virtues of the players I prefer, as opposed to those whom I like less.

With regards to the state of play on the pitch, I've always been of the opinion that the result is what truly matters. As such, I am able to sit through 90 mins of boring, tactical football, so long as the 3 points are achieved at the end of it all. Obviously, winning with flair is a plus; however, how we win is always secondary to getting the win.

Im the hardcore fan type. wtach every game, dont go out to see games, collect EVERY Inter related stuff. Im the type of fan that normally stays quiet during a game (But from the inside im ****in dying.) but explode when a goal is scored (by Inter). I normally heat up in about those last 10-5mins.

ps: im always pessimistic. then if a good result is achieved il be happier!

    Hah! Ask Tim.

I don't think I need to justify how big my love is for Inter anymore. But when you watch me during a match, you'll think that I'm not an Interisti, in fact, you'd think that I'm rooting for the opposition.

Well, let's say that I'm not your everyday fan and certainly not one you normally see in the Curva Nord. Not trying to think too highly but I think a perfect example for how I support Inter is just like our own owner, Massimo Moratti.

I believe Handoyo can be best described as the anti-fan. He loves Inter, but he expresses himself in a different manner altogether. Before I met Handoyo, I thought I was the pessimisti. I stand corrected.

It's pretty much the same with me. I'm quite pessimistic, so I better deal with dissapointments. If we're on a good winning streak, I do get more optimistic but always with a bit of caution.

After a bad result or a pathetic performance, I do critisize the team if they deserve it, but not to the extent like some of you here. Some of you make it sound like Inter is the worst club on the planet, and that you regret and are ashamed of ever becoming an Inter fan. That pisses me off.

And also one more thing, which many of the fans seem to lack. I believe that every player deserves atleast a bit of respect, just for the sole fact they are Inter players. Thus, I support every our player during their time at the club. Even Wome and Cesar.

As for the flair of play, ofcourse I love if our team plays beautiful and atractive. But if a good tactical display will get us more trophies instead, then so be it.

Does anyone else get the feeling that a prerequisite to becoming an inter fan is having a pessimistic outlook??

I too hold this view about almost everything and it seems most inter fans Ive met on here and in other places are the same.

In general, I'm a pessimistic Inter fan. the good thing about this is that I rarely get that depressed if our team fails to deliver results. of cause it depends allot about which team we meet, for example I always expect us too lose against Milan and I hardly get that depressed about it since I expected it. I do get allot more optimistic when we are in a winning streak, sometimes a little to optimistic, and when we then lose again I usually demand the coach head on a silver plate

I have a habit to overreact when our team have a very bad day at the office or delivers a bad result. And in those situation I often say some rather cruel things against the club and make it sound like our team is the worst in the world and our players and staff are a bunch of amateurs.

robson ponte said that every players deserves respect, that is not the way I am, I only respect player who deserves it in other words that means that he has too proven himself and not only in a few games but in a longer period. and in general I don't respect players with a racistic human view, players who are Violent, and of cause if they don't have the quality too play for a team of Inters size. So that is the reason why I can be very harsh against some of our players. And if a player have done something that could harm the club or haven't performed very well for a while. then I have very hard to forgive that person.

And then I am that kinda fan who just hate our board too death, and therefore every time they screw up I'm over them as a hungry wolf over a wounded deer. And I never praises them even when they do something good.

Hardcore fan, have Inter stuff everywhere in my house. Always with a positive attitude, never give up mentality. That black and blue jersey makes me love players that I would normally hate.

Its more of a defense mechanism now because of our under achievements. Its only normal. I havent done that though, because i get into every game in that same state of mind, Win it, im happy, dont win it,im pissed, no matter who it was against, no matter wat the score, etc.

Im always depressed the same day and require hell of attention to forget about it. I sometimes actually stop caring and wont watch or read anything about the team for a day or two..

I'm optimistic. Too optimistic. I never expect to lose to a team like Milan or Barca. I expect that we'll beat them 3-0 with style. And what keeps me going? I'm too forgiving. When we lost to juve, I thought I as going to start supporting barca, next morning, I'm itching to watch Inter's next match and I expect it to be 2-0 to 5-0 for us. I love to watch counter attacks. Especially when a SB runs down the flank and sends a cross in to an attacker, who heads it in, I just love it. Also one-on ones with a defender and a player like c.ronaldo with the ball.

Once a very optimistic kid for the first few years when I started supporting Inter at the age of 8-9 years old, but I have now grown to the "dark side" of things. I'm very pessimistic and find it easier to deal with the constant let downs that this team gives us year in and year out. That being said, I do have my positive days where I just look at the big names in our squad and declare Luis Figo still a world class winger or claim that Adriano is the best striker since Romario. Just depends on my mood.

I have no politically correct answer. I have slowly but surely become addicted to the black & blue and might not be a memorabilia freak, but once I do have the money put out for it, I surely will become another Frisko.

i would rather say im an optimistic fan,
i really think the hardcore fans are the ones who drop everything and follow inter week in week out,
ive watched inter live as a teen in the late 80's a handful of times so i cant really desribe myself as a hool who would do anything for inter,
the hardest or the most passionate thing ive done for inter was to take my wifes laptop to work a couple of times so i could keep an eye on the forum and live score,
but in general i dont mind spending a couple of hundred dollars a year to watch inter on pay tv even though i have to listen to commentary in mandarin, arabic, etc.
i like the crew on this forum and i would describe some members as passionate, some disilussioned ,some optimistic, some pessimistic, some racially determined, some sarcastic, but mainly ok fellas.
sometimes i think some forumistas say stuff even if they arent or didnt watch a game, but to please others and to agree with them.
when i say im optimistic i honestly think we can win the CL,but not the scudetto,
    ps the cup is ours

    Thanks, I guess.

Well, I do a lot of reading; I also possess a rather inquisitive mind, one that stimulates the desire to enrich myself with further forms of knowledge.

Yes, I agree. Whilst many a player has often crossed into the realm of absurdity (West, anyone?), I'm proud to say that I've never once declared hostilities with any singular player.

It's not a prerequisite, actually. Pessimism is in fact, one of many consequent byproducts brought upon by years of conditioning. Whilst some maintain a highly optimistic outlook toward life, a great many Inter fans fall into what is known as the depression zone.

Remember, most of us weren't cynics to start off with; it was all Inter's fault!

I don't about me. I feel like I am a liar. I started having a pessimistice view, since it is the best defence mechanism for us. But then, I find myself getting very optimistic near the game, and expecting alot of things.

While watching a game, I am not myself. Normally, I am a very quiet guy that doesn't curse nor act jumpy and high. I totally lose it when we play bad, I start cursing, and I feel like smoking cigarettes. I am sure that if Inter don't change for the next while, and if it's okay to smoke indoors, I will be smoking again.

I feel very nervous and depressed, and if we lose, it's like the end of the world. I tried to stop that, but I couldn't, sometimes you can't fool yourself.

But when we win or if we play beautifully, I am on top of the world. I feel sheer joy and I am back to being my mellow and relaxed self.

LOL, one thing I don't do is never give-up. I always feel that we will come back and score, which is some consolation.

About Miki's words, I too think they are well-written and aesthetic. Sometimes they are gay in a good way that is!
