    Inter - Udinese (Coppa Italia)

Seems every one forgot about this game??

    INTER V UDINESE: DISCIPLINARY SITUATION
Monday, 20 March 2006 13:25:00 MILAN - Ivan Ramiro Cordoba is automatically suspended for Wednesday's Tim Cup semi-final first leg against Udinese after reaching the limit of yellow cards in the quarter-finals. Disciplinary situation for Inter v Udinese (21:00, Stadio Giuseppe Meazza):

    Inter
    Disqualified: Ivan Ramiro Cordoba
    Cautioned: Pierre Wome, Javier Zanetti

    Udinese
    Disqualified: -
Cautioned: Vincent Candela, Cesare Natali, Mirko Pieri, Damiano Zenoni

I am hopping Burdisso gets a chance in his natural position.
    Forza Inter per sempre!!!!

    He should be...

Normally this will be the lineup:

    Julio Cesar

Ze Maria - Burdisso - Mihajlovic - Andreolli

    Solari - Pizarro - C. Zanetti - Kily

    Cruz - Martins

On any normal day, Wome and Cesar would also play, but they played against Lazio. Wome could need a rest too, perhaps.
I wouldn't be too surprised seeing Wome play, Ze Maria on the wing, and Solari on the bench.

    Who is Solari?!!

Udinese have hired veteran Giovanni Galeone to replace the Sensini-Dominissini duo!

No reason we shouldnt get throught this round ever with a second string bunch of players. udinese will be fielding a very young side as their prime objective is to avoid the drop and they could care less about this competition as it is only tiring their already very thin squad. I think they will put up a decent fight at the start just to please the home fans but if we manage to ride that storm we should grab a goal somewhere in this game that way we have an advantage for the return leg.

i would also like to see some fringe players get a chance if Ze and Solari are fit like Mancini says they should get the start to see what they can do. Perhaps Andreolli and Burdisso can start in the middle to gain an understanding with each other. Who knows if Inter were smart and developed these players properly they could lead our backline in a few years. Hopefully Momente will get a chance in this one. Martins and Cruz should start this one as they need to get some goals and confidence between them. I would also like to see the Hammer get a run our for this one, who starts next to him? Couldnt really care less if it is a primevera player I wouldnt be unhappy.

    What the heck?

How many freaking times do I read that Cordoba is suspended for a game? Is he becoming a card collector?

I am seriously starting to worry about our CD's again Oh man, we will never have two proper CD's it seems

I agree. In this season Cordoba isn't as good as he used to be. Committing stupid fouls in dangerous area, collecting unneccessary cards, etc. But now we have Matrix

I definetly want to win this cup again, even if it's meaningless. I agree that our B line can beat Udinese and I am for it.

If we win this series, hopefully, we will meet the winner of Roma/Palermo, is it so?

Hmmm, no other Coppa Italia ties and this is the semis so what else did you expect, Hamoudi?

Surely we can smell a repeat of last year's Coppa Italia final, though I would very much prefer Palermo who has been inconsistent this season.
