I canīt see why itīs Manciniīs fault that we screw up in defence and fail to be cynical in front of goal????? In the short time Mancini has been here the atmosphere has improved a lot. I see the team fighting more too than last season.

We should not even contemplate of sacking Mancini, especially now. It's just a few games into the season, and if we sack him now, it will make absolutely no difference, IMO. It would be just like last season when Zaccheroni came in. I like how Inter is playing now. Even if we're not winning games now, the victories will come.

Our defense need improvements, but we are still undefeated, we are doing great in champions, and the team is playing good most of the times; we got new players, and game after game they will improve, cause they will start to know each other better.

About a regular starting line-up, Mancini will find it, sooner or later, he, too, is coaching a lot of new players, and the likes of Cambiasso, VDM, Burdisso, at first were subs, but now they are starters, and good ones, that's why is a 3 years project; and remember, THE SEASON IS FAR TO BE OVER.

I remember when I made that joke in summertime, and now it's turning to reality... But yeah, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Moratti sacked Mancio in near future, probably next season... And for now I'll say the same what I said when you sacked Zac, CONTINUITY IS THE KEY, surely even Moratti can understand that in somepoint...

Yeah we should sack Mancini and bring back Zaccheroni....

Give the man time, yes he's made his mistakes (playing Mihajlovic, Not subbing Vieri, Not subbing Veron, Benching Il Capitano.) But he's HUMAN. It's easy for us to talk AFTER the matches end, Mancini makes his decisions DURING games.

I've seen Capello and Wneger doing some tactical mistakes, so big deal.

Now we play proper FOOTBALL. Yeah we're not playing like Brazil but at least our games are good to watch.

Let's talk about Mancini in this thread.

Positive and negative aspects of his work:

    positives:
    -quite nice playing
-great results in CL and Coppa Italia
    -offensive power

    negatives
-friendship with some palyers with might have some influence on the strating eleven
-obsession about Adriano-Vieri attack(Martins on the bench all the time)
-our best ,fundamental players from past season aren't himeself like J.Zanetti,I.Cordoba or Toldo.Davids sucks completly too.
    -too much squad rotation
    -defensive aspect of the team

Help me guys , esspecially in the positives

    Positives:

    - In very little time he made Inter play their best football in 20 years.

    - He managed to create a group of fighters, a group of motivated players who love this team. Players that even if rarely play, give all they have for Inter (Karagounis, Emre...).

    - He achieved great results already, we didn't get many points due to individual mistakes. Still we already have great memories, such as Valencia v Inter, Inter v Juve, Inter v Sampdoria.

    - He brought Bobo back to his best form.

    - He respected the club's choices.

    Negative:

    - He doesn't make changes quickly enough when things are not going well on the pitch.

    .

i disagree i hardly can see this as a positive thing for us , mancini should be concerned about winning matches and play with on form players not to prove the critics wrong by playing with adriano-vieri which cost us alot .

Frisko I absolutely Agree with everything you said, this Reggina match is a perfect example of how he is slow to make changes he waited too long to make the changes. We can't rely on Oba and Chino to give us a miracle comeback every week. Having said that he has also made great substituions, Juve and Sampdoria match. As for what 2T said it is never a bad thing to get a great striker like vieri back into form. I don't think the strike pair has cost us alot I think its always been the midfield. Bobo is not amazing on the ball he needs service and when he gets when he's on form he never disappoints.

Mancio is great , he has made Inter one of the most entertaining teams in Europe . Though the results isn't as expected but i will always go for letting mancio learn from his mistakes (he's young) and letting him Gel with the great team that we've got rather than fire him and start this crappy vicious cycle with a new manager , new players etc....

The only thing that i can take on Mancio is his dependance and neediness of ex-lazio players . as for subs ..he will learn how to do it right . He has already learned to balance things regarding the defence and now we haven't conceded much like we did at the start of the campaign . Patience Guys !

    Positive:

    (1) We never seem to lose.

    (2) Entertaining to watch.

    (3) As said earlier, an offensive Inter.

    (4) Good that he started to play the in-form player Cambiasso even when there were players like C.Zanetti (was he fit?) and Davids available.

    Negative:

    (1) A coach can be friends with players, but not when it comes to professionalism.

    (2) Has to try to work with the group he has been given, instead of adding his old mates, whom he knows very well.

    (3) Should make the defence better.

    (4) Too much rotating doesn't work.

    (5) In-form players must be played and given equald chances, instead of friends.

    (6) He proved to be moody when he kept on playing Vieri--Adriano, when there were other in-form players.

    (7) Playing 2 DMs' when we have other quality central midfielders like Emre, Karagounis. Also the way he is using the flat midfield without pure wingers. Can't he play the diamond one??

    ## But saying all these doesn't mean I dislike him.
I wanted him to be our coach, and I still want him to remain as our coach for a long time. But I just hate his eagerness to stick with friends.

    FORZA MANCINI !!

    Make that:

    We never lose

We never give up, even if we're 0-2 down to Gobbi with 10 minutes to go and they've conceded 9 goals in all previous games, or if we're 0-2 down to Samp at the 87th minute.

I'm with Pravesh on this one. He more or less described what I feel about the guy. After all after Cuperman's departure Mancini was my 1st choice!
So I'm fully behind him. However that doesnt mean I have to act as a blind person and agree to all his choices or anything else for that matter. Certain members believe that because oen is keen on a player/coach then everything els ewith them should be respected! I'd say hell NO!

As for the unbeaten run which alot of ppl make a BIG deal out of, I'd like to say this:
As much as a second place will never be remembered (only winning trophies counts), hence no one will remember an unbeaten run if you do not win jack a$$! so dont make a BIG deal out of this, because sooner or later we shall lose!

Not completely true. Veron, Davids, Kily, Martins etc.. have all had injuries.... but this is hardly Mancini's fault. It seems we always have a shite-load of injuries each year, maybe we should get better trainers? Maybe kidnap Bilans?

Mancio doesn't have a ton of faults but his late subs and reliance on ex-Laziale need work. I'm not particulary enamored of the Vieri-Adriano partnership either.

There is no perfect coach in the world. Name any coach and you will find something that he continuously does wrong. Ferguson is too authoritative, Wenger is too lax with the players, Mourinho is egoistic, Cuper is too cautious, Capello is a liar and so on.

So, Mancini has met my expectations for what i define as a good coach. However, I seem to hate his preference for some players and his hesitation to sub players. He isn't perfect but he isn't bad either. I hope he will improve over time which i think he would.

Finally, i don't agree with JZanetti that nobody will remember our unbeaten season if we don't win a thing. I'm sure it will be remembered, but there will be a huge catch. We could be the first team to go unbeaten and trophyless in the same season.

Now, that's a dubious distinction. You know that all those anti-inter journalists and sites will have a kick of it. "Inter again suprise us, not by underachieving as ever, but by going unbeaten and still not win." I could just see the mockery.

I'd like us at least win the Coppa, go unbeaten and reach the CL semi's. I would call that successful and this might silence some of these jouranlists-wannabe's.

    .
True! However what they all have which Mancini doesnt, is a couple of trophies! Having said that I'm all behind Mancini and his/clubs so called project as I'm all for continuity. Mancini is still too young and need to gain more experience.

Well, he is a good coach, but frankly spaking I was expecting a bit more. With his/our curent squad I was at least expeting a worthy find for the scudetto untill the end! LUCKILY for my health I fully gave that hard battle for the scudetto up when we drew with Gobbi at home!

1 - Surely it will be mentioned in the OUR record books, as BBilan's unbeaten record is much more impressive than ours! On top of that they won trophies aswell

2 - We are still unbeaten, BUT its only half way through the season, so pls dont have high hopes!

As we all know CI doesnt mean anything to the so called big guns. So it doesnt mean much to me either. If we win it, good, if we dont I couldnt care less. CL semis would be good financially, but nothing more than that. I also believe no matter how crap our reslts in the league is/will be - surely we can not lose out on the 2 CL places. And this is mainly thanks to the finincial difficulties that the 2 rome teams are having
