    Inter - Roma (Coppa Italia)

    Cordoba 90% out.
    Mexes out, Taddei out.

Tough position that Mancini is in. Does he come out to consolidate the game with a defensive approach or try kill it with a goal.

Personally i say defend, if we try to attack we make ourselved very vulnerable to a very very good counter attacking side.

    all i can say is.

    I Second that helal

but anyway about the match,i think mancini should just field our normal formation(altho Cristiano Instead of Pizzaro offcourse),and we try to grab a goal in the first half or so.

and hopefully Burdisso in place of Cordoba ... with the likes of Mancini we need some pace, and Materazzi is more likely to make clumsy fouls when faced with faster players.

    JC
    JZ - Burdisso - Samuel - Favalli
    Figo - Hammer - Cambiasso - Stan
    Adriano - Cruz

    ahaahaha Marcello

We can't get a score-draw (or a bore-draw, that's just not our style) so we MUST win this game.

Knowing Mancini though, being the unpredictable, arrogant man he is we will probably play 4-5-1 or 'experiment' with some crap which costs us the game. I hope to God I'm wrong because this would be a disaster.

We should use the KISS philosophy. "keep it simple, stupid" (I didn't invent this silly phrase)

It applies here... because we need results.

    4-4-2
    Full strength.

    Adriano, Cruz
    Stankovic-Cambiasso-Pizarro-Figo
    Favalli-Burdisso-Samuel-CAPITANO
    Cesar

I changed my mind on G-UNIT FAVALLI. He may be a prick for turning red and black, but he's a class defender you have to admit.

Hopefully we play with a lot of intensity and score goals, goals..... GOALLLS.

I DO NOT want to see Marco "stupid idiot, dirty, cheat, mother f-cker, disgrace" Materazzi in the line up. I used to feel sorry for him, now I realise he's just a meat-head son of a ***** who deserves all the sh!t he gets.

A few good performances here and there is not enough when you consider how much crap he does. He's a dirty player. I mean, it's just incredible to have him alongside such classy players as Javier Zanetti. They are like the opposite of each other. One is a classy, elegant, magnificent player. The other is a dirty, thug, clumsy, idiot...

Anyway, I hope Pizarro gets a chance again. I just have belief in him. Keep in mind though, I didn't see the 1st leg.

    FORZA INTER

1 trophy is always better than none - WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT (ONE OF) MILAN/JUVENTUS WILL BE GETTING! HAHA!

    INTER 2009/10 !

    Croatia

This is supposed to be the best moment of our season..Except for Milan Derby 3:2...
    The strongest lineup curently!

    ------------------J.Cesar------------------
    -------------------------------------------
    J.Zanetti----Materazzi---Samuel----Burdisso
    -------------------------------------------
    Figo------C.Zanetti---Cambiasso---Stankovic
    -------------------------------------------
    -------------Cruz------Adriano-------------

If Matrix is not available then go for Capitano-Burdisso-Samuel-Favalli defence..In the middle I personally trust more C.Zanetti more than Pizarro because Roma's counter-attacks are too dangerous, and Cristiano should be able to hold it more than Pizarro..
In that case Figo should get more creative freedom.
Adriano and Cruz should start, but I have a feeling that Oba could be decisive!!So I hope he gets some 25 minutes..

    FORZA INTEEEEEER !!!!!!!!!!

I disagree with helal's mentality here. If we're going to win this trophy then at least give us a f-cking entertaining game and thrash Roma, I don't want to see us win over away goals that's just too pathetic I'd rather see us get f-cking hammered.

Kind of alternative approach I guess; feel free to bash me. I just can't put Pizarro, Figo or Adriano to my preferred line-up. Figo was so tired in Rome, it's beyond belief he played the whole game! Pizarro is pathetic with Cambiasso, in difficult games that is. I don't think I have to say anything about Adriano, you just seem to be incredibly patient with him.

^^^ I agree with you but maybe if we let Figo out of the Siena clash he will look better for ROma which is frankly a more important game now..

Solari deserves more of a chance as well. He's been playing well when he had the chances in past times, how is he rewarded for good form? BENCH.

Mancini gets under my skin sometimes.

This isnt exactly the game to play someone who hasnt got many minutes.

He will paly against Siena probably but it wont be smart to play him against Roma especially if you have him and figo who both suck at defending.

So, this is the game to field extremely off-form and tired players? Mancini knows more than we of the fitness of our players, but my eyes witnessed slow and tired Figo in Rome. He lost the ball countless times.

    Javier Zanetti

It has suddenly occured to me that winning the Coppa Italia is an imperative mission.

Apart from the nigh-useless Italian Supercup, Javier Zanetti has never held aloft a true competition's trophy as captain of Inter!

Therefore, as a fan, the question of whether you have been disillusioned with this season's performances is irrelevant. The Italian Cup must be won for Javier Zanetti's sake.

    Ciao,
