    Official: Olivier Dacourt to Inter

It has not yet been reported by Inter's website, but Olivier Dacourt held a press-conference today where he said that he is joining Inter.

Mixed feelings regarding this. I don't rate him AS bad as some people do. I think he would be an okay back-up for Cambiasso. I just wonder how he will react on being on the bench for most of the time.

"I am going to Inter and I am fine in Italy - I am leaving Roma because I need a new challenge. For a player it's important to have a new challenge after three or four seasons so I need a change."

"I have a good relationshop with the club but sometimes you have to make personal choices and sacrifices. We did not find an economic agreement and simply I had other offers and so I evaluated the situation."

Yeah Jimmy. I think he wouldn't mind to be a bench player and he should know that by now. I think he would be more than OK as a bench player.

This means that my favorute player Cristiano Zanetti will leave .
I thoth somedays ago that wis this Moggi scandal that he had e change of mind.

Oliver is a good backup we cant have world class players as backups.

don't worry i don't think juve will be in serie A next season so he may stay and let's hope dacourt fails the medical.

Well dacourt is more then just good as a back up!!We cant have only stars in oure squad !!
Which matches do you feel more, those with Juventus or Milan?
"With Milan, without doubt. And I don't like the Rossoneri fans either because they have a way of behaving, particularly when they win, that I don't appreciate."

For me it's not the question of his quality, at all...
What I am concered about is the age of the player - 32... next year we will have to look for another back-up and again change the team more than it's needed..

Jimmy n me got same avatars as of now.

as for Dacourt, okie move. nothing speciaal, nothing foolish. wud hv been better if we cud hv found an Italian with similar qualities.

btw, when does the transfer window officially open? or has it opened already?

I think this was a good move.

Dacourt is an experienced player, who fits into Serie A well, an excellent backup, and since he was for free, I can only say: Bravo!

Fine coup, IF he really is going to be just a backup for Cambiasso. I am just
hoping he will do better job than our last "reinforcement" from France, Jeremie Brechet.

c.zanetti is allready juve player (4 years contract)

and we hot dacourt as his replacement.
good thing is that he is free(is he), and he is our 4th mid. ok
but we need DESPERATLY one w.class in our midfield!

How is this a BAD transfer? Some of you need to get a grip on yourselves. Who do you want to back-up Cambiasso? Freakin' Cesc Fabregas or something?

Good move. Half of our first team is made up of free transfers.
    Nulla impossibile per questa Inter

cambiasso isnt a starter in my view

but in this case, with our coach, cambiasso is going to be starter, but we need a w.class to partner him ,but remember-cambiasso's best position is as central mid, so we need perfect playmaker defensive mid ala emerson.
but I dont see mancini doing that

    Age, age, AGE!

We could have got Poulsen or Paredes... they are both free players.. But no, we had to grab the oldest one there is..
If we were Milan, I would be sure that we are going to use him for several years but since we are not, I see him packing his bags next summer...
And than again someone new in the team... When the f... are we going to learn?!!! Look how many changes other winning teams do to their teams!!!
And you call it a good transfer

    Exactly!

We got a skilled player who has tonns of Serie A experience. He had more or less a similar role at Roma where he was De Rossi's sub at times I believe.

He should be good for about 2 years.
