Helal, Marcello and the game of their lives

What else but Australia v Brazil? After the incredible comeback against Japan, and Brazil's almost laughable game against Croatia, the expectations and most of all the belief must be pretty high.

How are you living these hours of anticipatins Aussies? What are the media saying?

I surely believe that if you go for it instead of sitting back, you can take them, big time.

Is this the game of your lives?

(Please mods add poll: Australia win, Brazil win, draw).

The media has spent all week talknig about what will Guus do, will he take the weak approach of putting on a 2nd string team resting the others for Croatia or try take something from Brazil.

But it seems all players really want to go for it, the game will be at 2AM time for most Australians and this sure as hell wont be stopping them from watching it.

No doubt Brazil will get their chances to score, but I believe we will also have our chances on Brazil's defence.

I think Brazil is vulnerable, we have to believe and its as simple as that...

    That's the idea.

Brazil are not this monster team that the media talk of or the Nike commercials lead you to believe. Not only have their back four always been poor defensively, but they've got only one proper DM and a duo possibly facing their worst form(s) in years.

I'm optimistic about the chances of the Aussies or any team that goes against the Selecao in the group stages or the round of 16th.

I agree with Mike. Maybe and just MAYBE Australia might get a draw agains Brasil and that would be because Brasil won't do their best. Brasil will show what they're made of after group phase. BTW, I do believe Australia will get the second spot in this group, but they're pretty far from Brasil

I'm looking forward to this game, for two reasons, first I want to see if Brazil had a bad day against Croacia and how will Australia play this match, second this will be one of the few times that a non-Portuguese game will be shown in "public" television so I can watch it.

Good Luck to both teams, may the better team win.

Well the Aussies pride is still well intact, they created a lot of chances, 2-0 surely flatters Brazil.

If Italy are to play them, we'll have to watch out, Australia are very, very solid.

Australia are a decent side but I'd rather face them than Croatia, who are much more intimidating offensively IMO (even though they had a frustrating draw vs Japan lol)

    Javier Zanetti,

Australia played well, ITV had Shane Warne as one of the pundits.

Very true, we are very organised at the back and hopefully we can draw or beat Croatia when we play them.

THanks for some of the support guys
