I think this could be more open than most people expect, again provided that Mexico don't concede an early goal.

Mexico lack creativity in midfield.....except of their counterattacking works for once and Coloccini has a huge blopper day, I don't see them beating Argentina.

Albiceleste should win with 2 goals.

seems as if Burdisso might not play, but he's going to be given up until the very last minute to prove his fitness, just goes to show how much Pekerman rates him.
Another interesting selection is that Pekerman is also going to wait on Lucho Gonzalez as well, which would mean Cambiasso be dropped to the bench, I rate and like Lucho, but I'd rather a fit Cambiasso than a not 100% fit Lucho.

Thank God about Burdisso, I was reading that he could be done until the final game (if Argentina makes it.)

How reliable is the source that he could be back for this game Luis?

Gazzetta said that he could be called up for the quarter finals but not likely to play.

You are correct: Argentina-Mexico, 24 June, 21:00, Leipzig. I' expecting to see an Argentina at full power, I believe they will get an easy win against Mexico and advance with no problems. About Burdisso, I hope he can play, he is doing a great World Cup.

Seems Coloccini will play. Damn..this could be a huge obstacle, but still, Mexico is still to weak, even with Coloccini.

    Pekerman

Now when Burdisso got injured, and second-choice right centerback Coloccini seemed to be poor (even for Pekerman, why else he isn't on the line-up), Pekerman has to throw Lionel Scaloni to the starting line-up in the World Cup quarterfinals. I mean, what the hell?!!

    Zanetti, anyone?

    Pekerman can go to hell.
